I like these jeans very much. Thick material but very soft compared to other jeans, so it feels very comfortable. Only problem is it's BIG. I normally wear size 34, fits me well, might even be a bit tight. I bought these in 34 and they were huge, so unfortunately I had to return. I hesitated in ordering size 32 because I haven't worn 32 in decades. But I took a chance and 32 fits me well... might even be a bit loose around the waist, the length is ok ... maybe a tad short. So I recommend buying a size down in waist and a size longer in length. ... show more

These are quickly becoming my favorite pants. Calling them jeans is misleading. They are not denim (at least not like any other pair of actual jeans that I have). They are soft, comfortable and have a smooth texture. They look a lot nicer than any jeans I have, too.

    • It’s a stretch to call these jeans

As I noted in the title, calling these stretchy jeans ‘jeans’ is itself a bit of a stretch. I would compare them to a softer stretchier pair of Dickies. Don’t get me wrong though, I still think they are good pants overall, just not really ‘jeans’. The other issue, is that comparing these to Levi’s 541 Athletic Jeans, these are much, much looser and longer despite them being made by Levi and being an ‘athletic cut’ as well - which I’m not really seeing here (the calf doesn’t seem to really taper much at all). In reading reviews that said these were ‘sized right’, I thought to give them a wash hoping they would shrink a bit, but no luck - my mistake because they aren’t returnable now. If I were to purchase these again, I would definitely buy 1 size down. They are good pants that I will still use, but aren’t exactly the fit I was looking for due to running much larger than regular Levi’s of a similar cut. I would compare this fit to standard ‘relaxed’ jeans. ... show more

Pants showed up quickly and they fit perfectly. I had bought a pair from the store last year and forgot I had them until last week when slipping back into pants from shorts now that summer is over. The pants I had from the store had the tech pocket right next to the right pocket at the waistline, very inconvenient since when I sat down the phone pocket bent with the waist so although it had a "tech pocket" I feel it was unusable. Very comfortable pants though so I just kept the phone in my back pocket until I sat down then took it out. With these pants the tech pocket is located about half way down the right thigh, this works perfectly so my phone is able to stay in the pocket even when sitting. I’ve been a Levi’s man my whole adult life and will always be I suppose. I’m not a fan of the waterless jeans at all and I can get around that thankfully they’re still making them the good ol fashion way! Anyway, these select Levi’s r different and the waterless fabric treatment seems to make the pants last longer so I’m really glad for the referral from a friend and will b sure to thank her as well. ... show more

“I wish all my jeans were cut like this,” the middle-sized male offspring told me when he tried them on. The khaki color is perfect for dressing up or down. I love the way these pants fit. They are the most comfortable fitting jeans that I own. I bought a pair of these jeans six months ago and was so satisfied with them that I ordered two more pairs recently. While the fit was comfortable on the first pair it came with a "technology pocket" located immediately behind the front right pocket. I carried my cell phone there. I often didn't zip it closed and the next time that I wanted to put something in my front pocket (change etc) it invariably went into the technology pocket. Not castropic but irritating. Recently I ordered two more pair. I noted that they had now moved the technology pocket lower down on the right leg. That should fix the problem I thought. When the pants arrived I found that the fit and comfort of the pants had not changed. I had two more pairs of favorite pants. When I sent the pants to the laundry the first time I found that upon return the zippers on the technology pockets on both pairs of pants was frozen in place. Apparently they couldn't withstand ironing. The laundry said that they could replace the zippers but it would be cheaper to buy new pants. i managed to get both pockets closed by pulling very hard with a pair of pliers. I'll just forget about the technology pocket. and hope the zipper on the fly of the pants don't decide to freeze up some day when I am away from home and my pliers.... ... show more

I've worn Levi's jeans for yeeeears, and then a handful of years ago had started in on the raw denim thing. My fave pair was pretty heavy, and I still have them. However, looking for something different and costing less, I chanced upon Levi's Denizen at Target. I figured I'd give'em a shot. And I was so happy with them, that I went looking for them here on Amazon (I like simply having stuff delivered to my door). Couldn't find them, but I found these, which surely seem to me to be the same thing. For the life of me, I cannot figure out why they call'em jeans. They're just not denim as we historically know it. That's been a deal breaker for me in the past, but these have changed that. Black, lightweight, durable - I'm going to be wearing these regularly. ... show more
