These are the old school type doc martins. They cost a bit more but are built much tougher. They look great and the fit is perfect. They are very comfortable and I had no break in time. It's worth the extra few dollars for these as they are better built than the 100 dollar variety.

Day 1: pulled out of box and wore them for 14hrs straight (stupid idea) for work. I got blisters. Super stiff, squeaky leather. Day 2: wore for 12hrs straight (i didnt learn my lesson) but it feels so much better to wear, little bit looser leather, less squeaky. After using leather conditioner: feels much better to squat in with my ankles bending, minimal squeak, looks so shiny π

I had to return because they ran bigger than usual. I am usually a 7 but they were a size too big and i had so much extra space. I was sad i never got to wear them at all. I am still waiting on my full refund as i sent them in already.
