I needed some rainproof boots for the rain and winter season, but I wanted something fashionable I could easily pair with my clothing too. These are my first pair or Dr. Martens and I am very happy with my purchase. I find they are good quality and were not too difficult to break in. I'm still breaking them in and sometimes take them off in my office to give my feet some comfort, but they are not uncomfortable shows per se, its just that the leather takes some time to mold into your foot's shape. They are easy to slip on and have a really sturdy inner and outer sole that I am hoping will last me a good time. Ultimately, I am very very happy with my first pair of Dr. Martens and am happy I chose this style.

I'm a women's 9. Bought a size 8 and they fit very well. They were tight at first, but it took maybe an hour or two of walking for them to break in. And now they're WAY more comfortable than I expected from a pair of docs. I didn't realize these were "service" style when I ordered them. I thought they might be too big/chunky looking because they're unisex, but I took that back once I put them on (And the anti-slip treading is nice for a change - anyone with a pair of old 1460s, you know what I mean lol)

Lifelong restaraunt boh and foh, one week into ownership, four 10 hour shifts. I was skeptical going into it since I've never owned a pair of doc's before, but needed something to stand up to 10 hour shifts and would also be sturdy enough to handle riding around on a heavy motorcycle, and also deal with my super flat feet (I usually have to rotate shoes to rotate which part of my feet/legs I want to hurt the next day.. I'm that old, apparently). Out of the box and just standing there these boots feel stiff and flat, but when you're on the move that bulkiness tends to dissappear. I hadn't felt really any pain or discomfort until the end of day four, and that's just because it was a long day. Easy to wipe to clean, looks good in manager pants, non slip actually works, easy to wear all day. Definitely go for it if you are on the fence. I'm a size 8 everywhere, and the doc's fit pretty much perfectly.

The box and shoes were in good condition when it arrived. The shoes had zero signs of previous wear or damage. They did run a little on the smaller size so I hope they fit as a gift. I would definitely order again from this site.
