There magnetic but not very strong there also not very big. I cut one to make four (I am an adult male) had to buy my own string and restring but had to keep an eye on the free ones they just didn't hold together being magnetic.

Out of curiosity about magnetic bracelets I ordered this. It is magnetic. I put it on metal and it stuck to it without moving. I haven't noticed anything yet from wearing it, but I've had it a short time. I do like it so I ordered more from the same shop.
