We have been using Dr. Brown’s Fluoride Free Baby Toothpaste since our first toddler and now with our second toddler for a while now, and brushing has become a much calmer. My child didn't like anything near their mouth, but this toothpaste changed that in a good way. The mixed fruit flavor is mild and friendly, which helps keep brushing from feeling like a chore. My toddler actually leans in when the toothbrush comes out. Also, it comes with a seal on top giving a peace of time that it's untouched. The texture is smooth and gentle, without heavy foam which feels appropriate for very young mouths that are still learning how brushing works. I use only a small pea sized amount and that is plenty for cleaning tiny teeth and gums. It is safe to swallow matters a lot at this age, since my toddler do not fully understand spitting yet. I also like the ingredient list. It skips harsh additives and focuses on a simpler formula with xylitol, which supports early oral care habits. This makes me feel comfortable using it every day as part of teaching consistent brushing skills. The tube is small, but since you only need a little at a time, it lasts longer than expected. To conclude, this toothpaste fits nicely into early childhood routines by making brushing approachable, gentle, and stress free for both parent and child.
