Dr. Brown's Formula Mixing Pitcher offers fuss-free bulk formula preparation for up to four (4) 8 oz/250 mL baby bottles at once. The mixing pitcher's unique blade quickly dissolves and blends up to 36 ounces of formula with no leftover clumping. An adjustable stopper keeps the mixing blade from lifting above the liquid, reducing the amount of air that enters baby's formula to help minimize air-swallowing during feeding and reduce gas. I originally purchased the pitcher with the black accents and very quickly the measurements and writing started to disintegrate from normal use and hand wash with Dapple soap. I replaced it with the orange which is holding up nicely. Other than that, this pitcher is a huge help for stay at home days when you want to batch a days worth of formula. Super easy to leave pre-mixed formula for dad or other caregivers vs having to make each individual bottle. It’s also great for when you’re not sure of your baby’s appetite, you can always pour 1-2 more oz this way. The formula mixes beautifully in here and it’s fairly easy to take apart and quickly clean. Bear in mind that mixing formula this way does add 2-3 liquid oz (in my experience) especially once you are mixing 30+ oz at once. ... show more

I have never said "you need this" regarding any product. But this one, you do need! I mix up my baby's formula in the morning and we have ready to drink formula for the next 12 hours (I only mix what we use in 12 hours, and then mix another batch). My baby likes his milk cold and having it ready to pour when he wakes up early in the morning makes life easier.
