Why does my air mattress seem to deflate a bit overnight? PVC naturally stretches in the first 2–3 days. Inflate and deflate 2–3 times to allow expansion. This isn’t a leak—once stretched, the mattress will stay firm overnight. How should I properly store and care for the product? 1. Make sure the mattress is clean and dry before storage. 2. Keep it in a cool, dry place. Use soapy water and tap water for cleaning if needed. 3. Do not use chemicals, solvents, or harsh detergents. Proper care ensures durability and comfort. Can I use standard bed sheets on Dr. Air mattresses? Absolutely! Dr. Air mattresses are designed to fit regular fitted sheets, just like a traditional bed. Of my husband and I slept on this for over a month when we were in the process of moving into our new space. It barely lost any air, was very supportive, and we were very comfortable the entire time. When we needed to add a little extra air to it, it was back to our adjusted firmness with a quick twist of the knob. First time using it was simple to fill up and worked so quickly. We’ve had several other types of air mattresses, which ended up being a one huge experience. This was not the case at all with this brand. Incredible quality, incredible comfort, and incredible customer service! Ordered this for our guest bedroom and paired it with a 2” memory foam topper. My brother was working out of town near our home and spent a few nights sleeping on this, and he was pleasantly surprised by the level of comfort this mattress provided. In an entire night’s sleep, the mattress loses NO air, and to add additional air afterwards, you just plug it in, and let the built in pump run for a few seconds. Packs up into a nice compact storage sack that is provided with the item. Additionally, this mattress sits HIGH off the ground, remains very stable throughout a night’s sleep, and doesn’t make a loud noise every time you turn in bed. Also, the material is thick and seems durable for the long haul. The company stands behind its product with a warranty that they honor. This is NOT the air mattress of yesteryear. Worked fine. Reportedly comfortable. Blows up and the flights on its own quite quickly. It’s a little unclear if you’re over filling it and could blow it up. Also, for my money, it would be nicer if I could easily read the inflate and deflate words. Main annoyance is putting it away. I need to get all the aor out of it and it would be good if folding directions were attached to the mattress so it fit back in where it came from. Otherwise works perfectly. PS you can keep deleting it and most of the air does come out and the folding is a little easier but still a little confusing and it doesn’t quite fit back into the sack. ... show more

I thought it would be higher since the pictures make it look much higher than it truly is. It’s only 18” but I realize they make 20” mattresses also. Overall the quality is good. It inflated very fast, no leaks. I like the bag that comes with it for storage. The size which I bought is Queen and it seems smaller than other air mattresses I’ve bought. It’s definitely noisy. But it holds air for a good while. Like I said the pictures are very deceiving. O and the built in pump is awesome. I will say since I’ve been sleeping on this mattress for a while, it is very comfortable and I don’t wake up with a sore back anymore. ... show more

    • Good Short-Term; Be Prepared to Patch

This review is after 3 months of owning it. I will say that about 3 weeks ago it got a hole on the top of the bed (thicker blue part) and had to use some tape to patch it which did not fully work to patch it past the first couple days, then I think b/c it couldn't adhere to that fabric-y top material well it kept coming up enough for air to escape unless laying exactly on that hole when going to sleep. Before this was a great purchase, got b/c I was about 300-310lbs at time, held my weight very well & felt sturdy. Very quick fill up time, definitely under 1 minute, same with deflating. Easy to put away in a corner (although not to get in the bag it comes in). Was also a very good sleep for what it was & served it's purpose in my office for a short period. Overall would still recommend if you are doing short use camping trips or other needs, and prepared with better patching kit just in case. I used as a bed every night for 8hrs or so, so it was heavy use. ... show more
