If you like the texture of crinkly and breathable cotton, this is a great option. I would say it’s soft for my standard, but if you’re used to other fabrics (even polyester), the feel might be initially surprising. It’s not super soft to the touch, but that’s not how it’s supposed the feel. I also like the look of more wrinkled fabric on my bed (and because I’m just lazy to iron it or maintain it), so if you’re like me this is a plus! If you’re looking for something breathable and comfortable, without expecting it to feel like a hotel (not that this is better, it’s a different preference), this is the one! I’ve had them for about a month and a half, at first they’re very crunchy and kind of rough not gonna lie, but they really do soften quickly, now I can do post shave scissor kicks in them and they feel soft. They’re still kind of crinkly sounding but that doesn’t bother me. Perfectly mossy green

I've had the same few sheet sets I purchased at Costco. Pros: Good enough quality, but with the summer months, the polyester is too warm to sleep on. I read cotton percale sheets keep you much cooler. I purchased a sheet set and a duvet cover, both made from cotton percale. I was so excited to wash these and put my bed together and try them out. What a difference! Not only did I notice a difference in temperature, but the fabric was so soft! Just like sleeping in a comfy bed on vacation! Cons: These sheets and Duvet cover are a bit wrinkly, but I do not mind. If I needed them to be wrinkle free, say if I was hosting a party, I might pop them in the dryer and hit wrinkle release. When I'm just with the family, the more wrinkly the better! Try this duvet cover out! I'm sorry I didn't buy this a few years ago! Don't make the same mistake. Our bed should be our sanctuary, R&R. I slept like a baby last night in mid 80s, and wasn't overheated at all. Buy it! The cost is reasonable, and you'll be happy you did! ... show more

If you've stayed in high end European hotels, you know what this duvet cover feels like. Heaven. It's cool, 100% cotton percale, and over a summer weight cotton-cover down duvet, it gives you that cozy feeling, yet keeps you cool. It's hard to describe, but IYKYK. Sure, there's no industrial press onhand to take the wrinkles out, but who cares. Dry it on very low heat and add the wrinkle guard at the end, and it's good enough. ... show more
