What a great product, these Datto blades save me so much time, I set them up once, between each second or third cut. I will check to make sure that the nut that is supplied with these blades is tight, none of them have moved or gotten loose, which is very important When I have a lot of Daddo’s to be cut, generally all the same size for cabinets, drawers, etc., making sure that everything is cut to size and then set up the Dato blades as needed, the cut is precise, very clean, and I definitely could not be any happier than I am right now with this product, I’ve had this for quite some time so I’ve had a good chance to use them a lot and it is definitely great value, most importantly is I feel safe using them. The case, although it is lightweight is nice to have, keeping the blades protected and tend to want to keep them much cleaner than I would normally spend time on a blade with, wiping them down and spraying a little WD-40 on them. They are a great fit on my sore and after buying spare zero clearance plates it just makes them all that much better. The user manual is super handy, telling you exactly what blades and spaces you need for a specific width, definitely makes it a no-brainer effort to get the results that you really want.

Great dado blade! Very sharp, nice case and excellent overall, great price. I looked at all the dados on Amazon. This one was way less expensive than others. There are a few things to know with this as follows: first must be super, super tight on the arbor or it will slightly strip the arbor threads. I thought I had it real tight, but it must not have been tight enough as it was very hard to get the arbor nut back on again after changing blades, WD40 helped. Second it does not state which shims to use to get the desired cut. It takes a little trial/error. Lastly the rifing knife must be removed. Make sure you have a dado blade top insert too. I’m giving it 4 stars because of the arbor issue and the lack of info on the shims. Otherwise it’s a great tool!

I've used these on a few projects now. They perform as well as any I've had in the past. The price was much better though. The little case is kind of nice, so I don't lose pieces. There were enough shims that I was able to get the exact diameter that I needed. The cutouts are about as smooth as you're going to do with the dado set.
