The comforter is very soft. Not really thick, but I'm okay with that. What I'm disappointed in, is the size. I always get a king size because I have a double pillowtop queen mattess. All king sizes in the past have been long enough that it covers the rail. This looks like where a queen size would stop. Although I like the quality, I may return it because this cannot be a king size as stated. I think they had a California king but not in the color I wanted. I was a little surprised with the reviews. I washed this set one time and some of the pinched fabric came off and the cotton was balling up so it took some pulling to straighten it out. I mean it was a great price but I should have just spent a little more for better quality. Can’t return because it’s washed already or else I would. It’s thickness will do for the fall but definitely not warm enough for winter. I don’t recommend. ... show more
