The media could not be loaded. I went to a friend's house to help him hang his new television and was laughed at when I pulled out my old level. So I have been looking for a new one ever since. This one is okay, but not as good as an all-metal heavy duty level. This friend guessed correctly when he said that my old level must have come free with some other product (I think I had it come free with my old TV mount). This level has clear bubble indicators at a fairly inexpensive price. Has one magnetic side and is a mixture of plastic and aluminum. Level is fairly accurate and does the job. Overall feel of this level is not very premium, so I would not have it go through harsh conditions. Definitely a light/medium duty tool. I checked the accuracy of all three indicators (180 degrees, 90 degrees and 45 degrees) and they are accurate enough. Using a high precision digital level I was able to verify its accuracy. One really good thing about this level is the color of the indicators. The bubble levels have a clear black line over neon green/yellow liquid. I would have liked there to be more metal in the construction of this tool. The aluminum and plastic have clear gaps that could, over time, impact the accuracy of the level. I am attaching a video showing the flex between the materials to illustrate the issue, but it shouldn't impact most use cases. This level should be good for most applications. I'll definitely keep it for having it around the house (digital level is too accurate). Definitely not a tool for someone in a construction site or during a big remodeling project. It's better than what I used to have, so I am okay with this tool.

My old tiny level that I used for pretty much everything got broken by my toddler. I could get it back together but it definitely needed to be replaced. I decided to order these because they were bigger and seemed nice. I also liked the magnetic capabilities. They are 9” long and have just the single lines around the bubbles. I was initially pretty impressed with these given the price but on closer inspection they just don’t measure up. The magnet is pretty weak, both of them have weird orange flecks floating in the liquid (see photo) and perhaps the worst pasty is that they’re just not accurate. I put the same level on a flat counter surface and it measures different depending on which side you have it on (see photos). Both of the included levels have this same issue. I think there may be something on the non magnetic side causing it to bump up or something but this is simply unacceptable. Yes it will probably be accurate if o use it on the magnetic side only, but when I’m doing a project I don’t want to have to sit there and figure out which is the accurate side before using it. Undortunately these will have to do for a while. I wouldn’t recommend these unless the company figures out how to fix these issues

Levels are one of those things I'm always looking for so having a few extras laying around is always convenient. Having levels like this in your toolbox is essential for all kinds of projects around the home. Whether I'm looking to hang a picture frame, level an appliance such as a washing machine that I used these for recently, or something more complex such as hanging a cabinet, accurate leveling can make all the difference with these type of projects. One thing I have noticed is that when I place both of these side by side on a surface, they vary a tiny bit so that might be an issue with projects that require perfect accuracy. These small aluminum levels are perfect for those precise woodworking projects, as they are accurate, durable, and pretty easy to read, but being a bit older I do need my reading glasses so keep that in mind. They have a set of strong magnets so they can easily attach to metal surfaces and stay securely in place. So if you're always on the lookout for reliable levels to help with your DIY endeavors, overall this is a nice two pack to have at a good price point.

I liked the fact that these are available in sets as I sometimes need to level things like washing machines or landscape lights and like the be able to see the X and Y axes at the same time. They are visually pleasing, comfortable to hold, and easy to read. The challenge I found was when I assumed both units I got bundled together would read consistently with each other. They did not. One of them is a bit off. The other one perfectly mirrored other levels I own in multiple tests. The one that was off was consistently off in multiple locations. The picture I have of both levels together shows an example of this. The middle window on one is almost dead center and the other one straggles the line on the left. The pair read consistently like this in multiple locations and orientations. It is not a huge difference, but off enough that if you are someone who wants things to be dead level, they will be slightly off. Perhaps 1/8 to 1/6 of an inch. Again, the one is perfect, but the other one I will not use. Without having another level known to be good, I would not have known.

I read some of the reviews that called this junk. I just call it cheap in quality and inexpensive. It works. I looked at all three, some magnet up and others magnet down. I checked it again my digital level. They were accurate enough for hanging pictures or stuff around the house. If you do carpentry or are in a profession that needs better quality and accuracy then why are you looking at these? Go spend $100 for a level and be happy. If you are the average person that uses a level once in a while and the accuracy of pretty darn close is good enough then these do the trick. They are a little flimsy but not to the point that they flex or bend on use. Look at the price! Good news if you lose one, or run over it with the car, who cares?
