The 11 1/2 bowl has a beautiful shape, but downside is they are ceramic. Not white porcelain like the bowls I bought last year. So the color doesn’t quite match. Also, they don’t match my V&B fine porcelain like they used to. Another downside is they are heavy. And don’t have that great feel that porcelain does. I’ve taken two pictures one of just a bowl sitting on top of some rose quartz coasters. To show you the beautiful shape of it. And another picture of it with an older porcelain bowl to show you the color difference and the higher shine. I hope the company reads this and re-thinks the ceramic and brings the porcelain back. The (small bowl) older piece is definitely a higher quality item than the ceramic. *** update. Ordered another companies that I found on Amazon is also 3.2 I will not mention the name but I can tell you that quality was nowhere near this company’s, so I’m upgrading my stars to five. ... show more

I love this so much. The size is just right for whatever food I put in here! its like 2 servings but in 1 bowl! no more standing up for seconds because if you will this up, you already had your seconds! I love making lots of soups or ramen noodles, and it works great! It is short but the circumference is wide, so you don't have to worry about eating in a small bowl at all. if salad is your thing, this works great as well. Even cereals, I can put lots of cereal and not worry about not getting enough. I do worry about the thickness of some bowls, and this pass my test. It is THICCC no, maybe just THIC since it is durable and can last a while. This is a very nice bowl that FITS almost everything you need. Just enough that it is big but not too big but it is not small that it will not fit certain things. ... show more

I have purchased several basic items from this company. I needed in-between sized serving bowls for our small household, so when I saw these so well priced on Prime Day, I pulled the trigger. They arrived very well packaged, with no chips. I deducted1 star because the glazing is a little rough/uneven around the rim of one bowl (see picture). They wash up beautifully. If you are a matchy-matchy person, note that they are not a stark white, if that's what you are looking for. (Not as white as Pier One or BB&B everyday white dishware) It's more of a milky white, but not as yellow as a cream color. Overall, these bowls are a good value for the price point. ... show more
