This baking dish is great, it is a little bit heavy, but that is to be expected with stoneware. It's thick, seems to be a tough long-lasting piece of bake-ware. The size is perfect for when you need something a little smaller than a 9x13. Highly recommend this product.

I bought this pan for making my lasagna. I splurged and got the blue pan, and I t is very pretty. I wanted to wait until I used it the first time to leave a review. Pros - The pan is nice and deep for 3 layers of lasagna with chunky meat sauce, 3 types of cheese, and noodles. I didn’t have to grease the pan at all! Even after baking, the lasagna easily came out of the pan without sticking even a tiny bit. It washed up like a dream. I did put it to soak because there was sauce splatter really baked onto the handles and edges. When I went to wash it, I didn’t have to scrub in the slightest. Everything just came right off with the sponge, and it looked brand new. I was amazed! Not even my Corning Wear will do that! Cons - It is heavy. I have MS, and don’t always have strength in my hands. Once it was loaded with the lasagna, it was very heavy to get in and out from the oven. I had to be very careful getting it in an out of the oven and while washing it for fear I would drop it.

We tried to make a lasagna improvising with an off sized dish. The result was a disaster. For years we have used a metal 9 x 13 pan in our primary home. Now in our second home we ordered this ceramic dish out of curiosity as much as anything else. It makes a nice lasagna. The ceramic dish is heavier, it is more difficult to store, but if you want to serve the whole lasagna at the table it makes for a nicer presentation. No difference is taste. Also our metal pan has a non-stick coating so it is more fragile and care must be taken not to scratch or abrade the coating.
