I bought this after learning that glass pans aren’t recommended for baking since glass is a poor conductor of heat. My brownies never turned out well in my pyrex. They bake beautifully in this dish! It’s a great size. I bought the white color which is simple and goes with everything (and is easier to keep clean since you can see all the bits.) I also made a 2-person lasagna in this (since it’s nice and deep) and homemade mac-n-cheese. Both were evenly cooked and I know my oven in this mid-level, Midwest apartment isn’t that great. I thought the price was excellent and well worth it. I would definitely recommend for someone needing a simple and effective baking dish.

These dishes are absolutely awesome. I use these for everything. They are easy to clean and they are the best baking dishes that I've ever used. You won't be sorry they're worth every penny you can use them for anything that you bake - they are made very well. They do well oven. I don't use the dishwasher, but I know they would do well in dishwasher too Great for lasagna great for baked rigatoni Awesome cake pan , biscuits pan, chicken wings , anything !!!!! Its awesome and cleans up EASY !!!!!! I love it

I bought this casserole dish several months ago, and I'm really impressed with the quality! It has a nice thickness and fits perfectly in my oven. I've made a wide variety of foods with it including lasagna, baked salmon, pot roast (with an aluminum foil cover), and even cake layers, and the dish still looks brand new. The built in handles on the sides are also a huge plus.

What a great baking dish! This is quite heavy but it cooks nicely and is just the right size for 2 people. The blue color is very pretty and the food always turns out great when I use it. If you have bought any Dowan products before, this is the same high quality!

This is a very nice baking dish. It is high quality and durable. It's heavy and thick. I was worried about shipping with it chipping or cracking. It came very well packaged with protected foam and packed box. It's easy to clean and stuff hasn't been sticking to the bottom. It's a very classy dish as well.

I bought this pan for making my lasagna. I splurged and got the blue pan, and I t is very pretty. I wanted to wait until I used it the first time to leave a review. Pros - The pan is nice and deep for 3 layers of lasagna with chunky meat sauce, 3 types of cheese, and noodles. I didn’t have to grease the pan at all! Even after baking, the lasagna easily came out of the pan without sticking even a tiny bit. It washed up like a dream. I did put it to soak because there was sauce splatter really baked onto the handles and edges. When I went to wash it, I didn’t have to scrub in the slightest. Everything just came right off with the sponge, and it looked brand new. I was amazed! Not even my Corning Wear will do that! Cons - It is heavy. I have MS, and don’t always have strength in my hands. Once it was loaded with the lasagna, it was very heavy to get in and out from the oven. I had to be very careful getting it in an out of the oven and while washing it for fear I would drop it.

First, the Good - I bought two baking dishes from Dowan (one 8x8, one 13x9), both arrived very well packaged. I loved the heaviness of them, loved the depth of both. They appeared well made, the finish was smooth with no obvious flaws. The Bad - Amazon displayed these two items as a bundle, which, unfortunately, misled me to believe they were a matched set. I should have explored each more carefully. Both are red, but they are dissimilar shades of red: the 13x9 is a deeper red, while the 8x8 is more of a tomato red. The larger dish has vertical lines that run up and down on the outside; the smaller one has horizontal lines. I probably could have lived with these variations. However, the inside of the two dishes were the last straw for me: one is distinctly ivory while the other pure white. Plus, the detailing on the handles is different. No doubt this will sound terribly picky, but I was trying to get two dishes in my most needed sizes that presented as a matched set. I felt like these were always going to look like two thrift shop finds if I put both on the table for the same function. And hey, to be honest, if I'd found them at a thrift shop and paid $10 for one and $5 for the other, I'd have been thrilled. Probably would have bored everyone with the story of my great finds! But not when I'm paying full price for brand new bakeware. I'm just confused why a company would make two items that are so very close to matching, but yet have such obvious differences. It's too bad, because aside from the appearance, they seemed quite good.
