Good bars but they go fast... and even faster now that they have reduced the size of the bars from 4 oz. (which I bought in 2019) to 3.75 oz. (which I bought in 2021) (see photos), so minus one star for the shrink, especially when Americans continue to get bigger. TIP: When a bar gets too small, wet it and wet a new bar and stick them together. Let them dry. Use them next time. ... show more

I bought the dove men’s soap for my brother as a “just because” you’re my brother gift, and even before you open the soap, the smell fills the room. The smell is absolutely wonderful. I decided to try a bar for myself and the smell does not stay on your body. The smell is in the soap, is soft on your body and lathers well, but you do not smell that way for the rest of the day. I am thinking about putting one of the boxes of soap in my car for an air freshener because those little air freshener trees only last for one day. My husband has been using this soap for the last 11 years. He will NOT use anything else, not even other versions of Dove Men+ Care. Whenever I find this on sale I stock up, our bathroom looks like a warehouse for Dove Men+Care 3 in 1 Bar for Body, Face, and Shaving to Clean and Hydrate Skin Extra Fresh Body. You can literally shave with this stuff. Throw away your expensive shaving creams and lather this stuff up on your face. I haven't bought shaving cream in three years. It does get smaller faster because it's so creamy and moisturizing. Works far better than all those high priced fancy soaps. Buy it. You'll love it. ... show more

Brought for a friend who was having issues with his skin. Said he was itching and his skin felt dry. Always being a user of Dove and knowing they came out with a mens line, I purchased this and sent it to him. He could not thank me enough and even said he likes the smell. This soap is great it lathers up really good has a pleasant smell doesn't dry my skin out it's really made for a man and a great value for the money to me a bar of soap last a lot longer than body wash especially when you get such a good deal on a large quantities of these great bars of soap!!

As near as I can tell, what makes this "for men" is the scent. Apparently Dove thinks it's manly to smell like cheap cologne. And there is nothing subtle about that scent. Just sitting in the soap dish, the bar of soap fills the bathroom with a stench like a gallon jug of that cheap cologne had been splashed all over the bathroom. I can't speak for other Dove products, but if you want the Dove moisturizing component, you'd be much better off getting their regular soap and using whatever amount you deem appropriate of your cologne. ... show more

    • Maybe not the best for sensitive skin...
The product overall did my expectations. The smell is pleasant and leaves little if any residue. However, I'd say I have slightly sensitive skin (dermatitis) with small flare ups from time to time and I believe this product is aggravating my skin. It is only impacting my hand but is right in the center of my hand where I hold the bar of soap while I wash. I have a prescription for hydrocortisone cream but I know maybe not all will have this as a backup option. Now, if you don't have sensitive skin, this product will probably meet your expectations.
