These mugs are elegant and well crafted. I've used them daily for a couple of years or more and have owned more than a dozen. I'm happy and expect to continue to buy them as long as the price doesn't go up. Here's the one cavaet: I wash them in the dishwasher because I'm too lazy to wash them by hand and the dishwasher does a better job. Eventually the resin that forms the tiny breather hole in the bott0m begins to admit water and they have to be trashed. It can happen as soon as two or three months or may not happen for more than a year if you're lucky. It must be much harder than I would think for modern materials science to solve that problem. They would be a better bargain if that problem were solved. I gave them five stars anyway, based on aesthetics. Some reviewers have criticized these cups for fragility. I suppose they are right if you compare them to regular porcelain coffee cups. But I think that's unfair. They're made of then glass. Of course they crack and break. Compared to a Champaine stemware they are significantly less fragile. And because there's no exposed edge, I've never found a chip in one. ... show more

These mugs are fantastic. After the initial wash to remove the packing dust, they were very shiny and held up to coffee and tea with no problems. Warm ups in the microwave were no problem as well. The double walls did prevent condensation as advertised. I was concerned at first at how light they were. I'm guessing they're not as sturdy as a ceramic mug, but I'm always more careful with glass anyway, so it's not an issue. On a side note, I had a shipping problem where the box had a big gouge and one of the mugs was cracked. Returned it with no problem and the replacement arrived in a few days. Great service! Overall, these are mugs are great for every day use and I love being able to see the coffee swirl and mix with the creamer. Good stuff! ... show more

The way the drinks look inside the mug is very nice, but it breaks easily. It was dropped only a few inches onto a mat in the sink yet it still cracked.

This mug seemed really good at first. However, in less than 6 months, the seal broke and the dishwater now gets into the space between the two glass layers. It is now garbage as it is impossible to get clean or empty. It has become unsafe and unhygienic. This is very disappointing. I expected better quality than this. ... show more

Feels like real glass only better It is debatable of whether or not it is top dishwasher safe (I do it) and it seems to be fine. keeps my hot tea hot the entire time & my cold drinks cold. I put ice water in it on my night stand & it last all night long

UPDATE: I was impressed the seller reached out and offered a refund. As of this date, I have not received a refund! I bought 4 of these mugs in February. The rim easily cracks and the silicone seal does not work. The mugs have water between the double wall. Will not purchase again.
