TLDR: Good headunit, some drawbacks but all in all you can't go wrong for the price My newly acquired Ram came with the factory radio installed however someone previously cut up the dash face to install an aftermarket headunit meaning standard single or double din units would leave a large hole in the dash. Found this headunit and figured I would give it a shot, wasn't expecting anything great but anything was better than a factory radio with a broken Aux input. I was pleasantly surprised with this unit, I've had it in my truck for about a month now. I had to use a Crux adapter so the factory amp would work. Changed factory speakers out for JBL components and added 12" sub Pros: Android Auto - it only works out of the box wired, but connection is fast, normally boots up within 2 seconds or so. 10 band EQ - works well however some adjustments don't seem to affect much. Sound quality - good reproduction of sound, does seem a bit quiet which could be due to the factory amp, or the amp adapter, uncertain. Screen responsiveness and quality - fairly quick for the price, dealt with plenty of name brand touch screens that were lesser quality than this Ease of install - mounts using sliding brackets, leave bracket bolts snug but not tight then slide headunit in place after everything is back together. RGB buttons - nice to be able to match the colors, wish there was more settings however Volume slider - touch either volume key and then a slider pops up on the screen Dedicated mute button Cons: USB power lacking - while using Android Auto it will only maintain charge of my Pixel 7, maybe after an hour or so of driving it will go up 4-5% No separate sub EQ or filter options Found loud setting to create immense distortion most likely due to stock amp A couple of times the unit has frozen while using Android Auto, resets after a few seconds but can be immensely annoying if volume is loud as whatever note is playing will just cycle for 2-3 seconds ... show more

I got this because I had a stock radio but didn't want to pay arm and leg for a new radio. I saw this, took a risk, and I'm glad I did. However installation would have been easy if I would have just gotten the harness I needed, however I went full blown chop shop on my wires as I've done radios like that before, not thinking and it took a whole week to get it installed. So again, my fault lol. So be sure to get the matching harness. Everything works as it should. Sound, buttons, screen, its all great. Highly recommend. ... show more

I’ve gotten two of these in the past couple of days. The first one I got look like it had been taken out of someone’s car already. But I tried it anyway and nothing. Sent it back, got another one wired it up today and the same result. This one looked better but looked like it was recently taken out as well. I want it to work but for me it’s not happening ... show more

    • Really Good for the Money
The Radio is nice and works like it should. Driving a 2014 suburban wie bose soundsystem made some problems because next to the harrness did i had to buy a canbus to make the sound system work with the radio. And the Canbus is quite expensive.

    • You get what you pay for
The media could not be loaded. First off, if your stock sounds system is premium (mine has a stock JBL system) avoid this all the way. It doesn’t have enough RCAs and I couldn’t get the buzzing to stop no matter what I did. While I was so concerned about the buzzing noise I didn’t realize that the touch screen calibration was completely off. I ended up pulling my Pioneer double din out of my other vehicle and installing it with my jbl system and no buzzing. Put this one in my vehicle without premium sound and no buzzing but the screen still doesn’t work. Tried reaching out to customer service and they’ve sent me exact same email asking for my Amazon order number and a short video of the problem…. Which I did and I keep getting the same response. My advice spend the extra money to get a system from a reputable brand… ... show more
