Very Cool Looking and Protective!!! This is a pretty nice helmet for the price. My son is 7 and a large fits pretty tight. Now that we are teaching our 7 years old son to ride dirt bikes.We were extremely adamant about him having a great high quality, DOT rated safety helmet and this helmet really met and surpassed all our expectations.It is a really great product and value for your money! ... show more

    • Padding makes this helmet small.
I tried this helmet on, and almost sent it back. It was very very tight. It was the same size as my original helmet, so it should have fit. I did not want to return this and have to wait for another, so I removed the "removable" snapped in padding (for your cheeks) in the helmet. It fit loosely then. I did not like the snaps left open, without the padding to cover them, so I removed the sponge from the "removable" padding, sewed the seam back closed and put them back in the helmet without the sponge. It fit perfect and the snaps did not scratch my cheeks. :) I loved the helmet and did this so I would not have to return it :) ... show more

    • Great helmet!
My 6 year old loves to ride his bike and has become interested in riding bmx. He is on the smaller side and this helmet is nice and snug but not too tight. There is great padding in the inside that can be taken out and washed. I feel it will keep my daredevil safe while he’s out riding!

I was super excited for when this helmet came in bc we were leaving the next day for a 4 day family vacation to go four wheeling. The helmet fits a little loosely- I feel if I had gotten a medium it would have been too snug, so a large was just perfect. The cushioning is the most amazing thing and is super comfortable. Also the straps at the bottom have cushioning on them as well! My family are big O'Neil helmet fans, and I have them converted and purchasing these also bc of how lightweight and not bulky they are. ... show more

    • Finally a real "kids size" helmet.
After buying a couple other "kids" helmets and feeling scammed this helmet saved the day. The size is accurate, the padding is excellent, and the quality is great! It does feel slightly heavy for my little 5 year old girls melon but it's not excessive.
