This is my first amazon review, I wish I was getting paid for this because maybe long reviews is my calling. I NEED to discuss with you THEE IT Girl, Floral Marshmallow by Dossier, but first you need to know me a little— Love Don't be Shy by KILIAN is MY signature scent, and I've indulged in purchasing it more times than I’d like to publicly admit. It's just so.. me. As a hot woman, I’m intentional about being sensational in all aspects including sense of smell, and Love Don't be Shy is apart of my lifestyle, it’s the scent I choose to show up wearing in the world. I genuinely receive multiple compliments daily. I’ve gotten opportunities just from my fragrance being the conversation starter. It’s an attractive fragrance that enhances your beauty. I’m not a gate keeper, so I always share when someone asks what I’m wearing. Who wouldn’t want to brag about the fragrance known to be one of Rihanna’s favourites, especially after spending almost $400 on it? Duh.. And what I loved is that because of the expensive price tag, the chances of friends or co workers going out of their way to smell just like me was low – again, it is MY signature fragrance and, it’s okay to have some things in life that you want just for yourself. Now, being a savvy shopper in today's economy, I was thrilled to discover Dossier's Floral Marshmallow. Let me tell you, I am beyond impressed. I genuinely cannot distinguish between my original Love Don't be Shy fragrance and Dossier's Floral Marshmallow – they are I👏DEN👏TI👏CAL👏 Plus, it has the same lasting power, which admittedly isn't the longest. It’s never been. With LDBS, I will find myself needing to reapply multiple times a day; which along with the hefty price, is another reason why I wanted to buy Floral Marshmallow. I want to spray away without feeling guilty, and Floral Marshmallow literally takes the last digit off the price of LDBS. I've tried various tricks to make it last longer, but both Love Don't be Shy and Floral Marshmallow linger for about 3 hours on me, just for reference. So when you get Floral Marshmallow, don’t be surprised. They both don’t last long. I know, why would I purchase a fragrance that doesn’t last all day? It smells THAT good. I don’t even care. I can’t live without it. It is what it is. I won't delve into the scent details and notes because what you really want to know is if it’s an exact match – this review is for those who have their heart set on Love Don't be Shy and are searching for a dupe. Trust me, add it to cart and click purchase. Period. I only wish I had discovered it years ago; it would've saved me thousands spent on Love Don't be Shy. I will try some of the other inspired fragrances from this brand, as I want to keep Floral Marshmallow as a daytime scent and find something sexier for date night’s with my Fiancée, or dinners with the girlies! UPDATE: A regular came into my office and remarked on how good it smells. I asked if it smells like food (someone was heating their lunch) she said it was a really pretty perfume. I walked closer to her and asked if she smelled it on me, she said, yes, that's it! She said the whole office smells like it and it's really pretty! So, ok, I can't smell it on me, but apparently it does last (it was 4 hours ago I sprayed). OP: This fragrance has a lovely smell. Light, pretty, feminine, sweet, lovely. Great atomizer - it sprays very well. My issue is the scent lasts a max of 5 minutes. Like, I do not smell it at all a half hour later. I layered with other nice scents, no dice. I tried spraying my clothes to see if that would help, it's barely a hint. I think I will try the real thing to see if it lasts longer. Again, it smells fantastic. ... show more

Soooooo. 😐 Ya'll....I'm upset beyond belief right now. I have been eyeing this Dossier Florel Marshmallow for a WHILE now. MONTHS actually. The description sounded right up my alley (who doesn't like Marshmallows eh???) And I have read through the numerous reviews many times right here on Amazon and Reddit. I kind of feel like I have been tricked completely. Is this the way it is suppose to smell???😒 It's smells like plastic and something artificial with hints of Marshmallow. Honestly, I.....HATE.....THIS...... FRAGRANCE.....WITH.... EVERY.....BONE......IN.....MY.......BODY. I wanted to test the longevity of floral-marshmallow and I sprayed about 20 sprays all over and ran to the store really quick. I kid you not..... the smell was ever so.... faint. HOW?!?!?! It's like I sprayed almost nothing at all!!!! About an hour later, there was NO fragrance to smell. It was pretty much all gone. This???? For $40.00??? Seriously?!?!?! NEVER AGAIN. It doesn't even last on your skin or your clothes. Are these reviews even real? Like come on now. I hate it when something is hyped up and it's just BAD. I lost like $32. Do I want to return this?? Oh goshhhhh YESSSSSSS. Can I return it?? NOOOO. I'm forced to keep it. The bottle quality and packaging was fine. Just as Dossier does. But I do NOT enjoy this scent. It's gross. I have no idea what Kilian "Love Don't Be Shy" smells like but, I'm feeling like I've been duped. Conned. The one good thing about my purchase is that I got it at a discounted price due to the Black Friday sale here on Amazon. I'm so happy I didn't spring for the 3.4 oz. So, there's that. So for the sake of fully transparency, I have no idea what the actual “Love, Don’t Be Shy” smells like so I bought this solely on the description (and hype over the real thing). It is definitely a strong scent right out of the bottle, so I’d suggest using it sparingly to start, and build up if you want to but I feel like it might be overpowering if you spray too much. Once it fades a bit, it’s actually a beautiful, soft/warm scent (and definitely on the “sweet” side). ... show more
