This product is so good. I love Kylie lip kits, this is definitely comparable. I love how it doesn’t dry out my lips. Also priming before this formula doesn’t settle into any lines on my lips and doesn’t transfer when I eat or kiss. Also, I love the scent it smells so good I wanna eat it lol

The color is not as vibrant as the box/packaging, it's unfortunately lighter and a bit more dull, almost greyish. I wish the color was richer and a little darker, as it's pictured, which I think would have worked really well. I ended up adding another color on top of it to get it to a shade that works better for me, which isn't ideal. Application is fine, both the lipliner and the lipstick go on smoothly. The lipstick is described as a velvet mousse, which is accurate, it goes on with a mousse-y texture and remains soft on the lips. It feels nice to have on. Nothing particularly great about how it sits or stays on, it's average - not bad but not amazing either. The lipliner is slightly lighter than the lipstick. If they can't be exact color matches with each other, then I'd prefer that the lipliner be darker than the lipstick for better definition on my lips. Generally I'd prefer both the lipliner and the lipstick to be more true to the pictured color though, so that the lipliner is even lighter than the lipstick is annoying. At $29, I'd expect this to be an amazing lipstick and lipliner duo, but I'm not overly impressed. Overall, I'd be much happier with this if the packaging reflected the color and shade of the actual product. I'd be more partial to a better color, but even then I'm not in love with it. As such, I'm not inclined to it, especially at this cost.

This is a really great product! It's not long lasting in my opinion, but the color is great! The lip liner is very creamy and pigmented, one swipe and its there! I will say the color wasn't what I was expecting, it was a little warmer toned. I didn't like the color when I had it on but then I did my make up and I liked how it looked. Just wasn't the color I was expecting.

Perfect for fall weather, which was why I wanted this color, but I suppose it's a great color for any time. Dose of Colors have usually been my go-to when it comes to muted, mauves, browns, etc. I was happy that this was a set. Lippie and pencil, took away the guessing I have to do to make a match. Beautiful rich colors. Blend well together. Both go on smooth, buttery, and flawlessly. Really does feel like a velvet mousse. Wore this look for an entire month with tons of compliments. The pencil lasts on my lips longer than the lippie which is to be expected usually so I don't mind that. After all day use it eventually became just a stain on my lips and even that looked good.

Love this kit! The lipstick is so creamy soft and is incredibly easy to apply- the applicator comes out of the tube easily without extra product either. That’s a problem I typically have with other brands so I’m glad it’s not with this one. I love the lipliner and the ease of application- it glides along my lips. These together don’t dry my lips out the slightest, in actuality it feels like my lips are continually kept moisturized. Bonus- I chose a color I don’t typically wear and while I don’t think it necessarily matches my skin tone, it doesn’t wash me out either. It’s fun to try new stuff and this lip duo was worth the effort!!

This is a nice soft pink brown. I have very fair skin and it’s still flattering on me. It does not wash me out. I like that it’s neutral and allows me to wear a peach or pink blush and maybe some simple eye makeup. But you could also do more dramatic things and still look great with it. It’s not drying at all which is unusual for me to find with a matte. I do find the lip liner just doesn’t look right on me. But that’s in general and not any fault of this brand. The color does not bleed but because it’s matte, I recommend applying a moisturizer or you will see so many more lines in the lip.
