This Trailing Arm is a perfect replacement. The part fits both sides so don't worry about the product description being wrong about that. If you own an old vehicle like my 96 Saturn SC2 then you should consider replacing these arms. Three bolts and you are done. It takes more time to put the car safely on jack stands than it does to replace these arms. I removed the wheels too but you don't have to. The arm comes with the knuckle bolt but not the body mounting bolts. I suggest cleaning the old bolts on a wire wheel to remove all rust and spray rust remover into the bolt holes. Also apply anti seize compound to the body bolts when mounting the new arm. The original broke on the right side backing out of my driveway. These old arms can shear at any time. Replace them before it happens away from home. Great part at a fantastic price! ... show more

The original trailing arm on my 1996 Saturn broke and I needed this part in a hurry. I shelled out for over-night shipping and, as expected, it arrived to my doorstep the next morning. It was an exact fit replacement... however, the only issue that I found with this part is that the OE parking/emergency brake clip needs to be reused rather than the trailing arm coming with it's own new clip. I found this to be an issue because my particular vehicle has some pretty serious rust on both the body shell and the suspension. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with this part and the purchase of this part! ... show more

    • Feels like I just bought a new car!
I own a 19 year old Saturn SL2 and just had these installed (plug and play three-bolt system) and now my Saturn no longer creeks and clangs, instead I hear nothing and the Saturn is her tight-self once again. I recently had new control arms and tie rod ends installed in the front (equals all my steering bushings) along with a new Dorman front Sway bar (includes two more new bushings), and had my relatively new rear sway bar links (two bushings re-greased). If you do this your car will ride like new (excluding getting new struts/springs). Bottom line, these new Dorman rear trailing arms have 3-bushings each and so you can see why you need your old ones replaced. These arms really work well with my newer front end upgrades to SIGNIFICANTLY TIGHTEN' your entire ride. Honestly, it feels as though I'm driving a new car now. I cannot stress purchasing these trailing arms. A+, thank you Dorman. P.S., I usually buy all AC Delco when I can, but in this case AC Delco no longer makes this part, but fear not, these Dorman's are even a slight bit thicker and make for a super controlled-feel, again, I highly recommend Dorman. Use some heat on the mounting bolts, and give her a ssssssssssss-t of PB Blaster, and it’s not quite the nightmare you’re expecting. Careful of the fuel tank and filter right there if you’re doing captain’s side.
