This was exactly what I needed for my Crown Vic. I'm a little disappointed that the ball joints do not include a grease fitting though. I don't put a lot of miles on my vehicle so it should last me a few years, but if you rack up the mileage you might want to look for something that can be greased up from time to time. ... show more

UPDATE: Nine years later and these ball joints are just starting to show wear. I contacted Dorman because I had purchased new Dorman ball joints and they weren't correct and they informed me that the control arms were a lifetime warranty part and I shouldn't be replacing the ball joints but sending in my warranty claim! What can I say, except this is the best money I have ever spent! Good quality part at great price, and it was shipped quickly and packaged very well, I actually I'd checked locally and for the same part, same manufacturer for a complete control arm I couldn't help but purchase these. I read a few reviews on the ball joints being inferior(cheap) I expect to change these ball joints out within a year anyway. Ford's were built a faulty design in the steering knuckle for quite a few years as a result any after-market ball joint isn't going to last. This will be my third time replacing the ball joints and first for the control arms(my last set of ball joints broke and the control arms were damaged). So if you find yourself needing a replacement control-arm this is a good one and the price can't be beat, as for the ball joint you will need to watch it 8 months to a year look at replacing it. ... show more

    • Part failed and it was an epic fail !!!!!
Control arm installed perfectly, or so I thought!!! I installed this control arm about 7 months ago. The ball joint on control arm came without castle nut and cotter pin, it also has hole to put. Otter pin through and no grease zert or place to put one. So last week in rush hour traffic at a place in road where.there was no shoulder to pull over on, I am taking for light and bear a loud pop , and front drivers side of car falls rght onto the ground, control arm setting on pavement. The joint just popped off and it and wheel hub separated and I left me in a horrible positions Luckily I was going slow. Coming to stop light . If it had happened when traveling at a higher speed , there's no doubt I would. Have crashed and died, this may seem extreme but it is the truth the way part failed caused no control over car. My advice make sure to.check for castle nut and cotter pin parts and ability to be put on, otherwise do not install it. ... show more

i've order this product twice.iwent by the custermor reveiw for the passenger side wrongside both times.i'll keep it and put it on the driver side and order ball joints for the other side.costing me a lot wasteful time
