I bought this as a replacement for my factory one. Unfortunately for anybody that works on these vehicles (Mine is a 2011 Chrylser 200, likely Dodge avenger models of the same era and maybe even sebrings) knows getting the air filter out is the easy part, but getting it back in is tough. I had done it myself a couple of times, but thought it must just be me. Unfortunately, it seemingly happens to the people that change my oil as well. I have had them chage the filter a few times now, and unfortunately i am not sure which garage broke the front clasp, and of course they both deny it. Thus, I heard this buzzing noise as i am going down the interstate in my 4 year old car, and it sounds like a music instriment reed vibrating from someone poorly playing. It was as I accelerated. I thought it might be something caught in the intake, so I looked, and the clasp was broke allowing just enough air to suck in by the gasket as the car needed the air for the power. I ordered this noting it was a great price, and I again adventured under the hood to fix it. It is the same design as the factory one, so it fits tight as well. But, it was a great price compared to getting a factory one, durable and maybe a bit more flex than the factory one, making it a bit more easy to put on. I installed this on my neighbors 2012 Dodge, as her original one had just broken down being plastic. This was a great aftermarket fit, and I highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. The clips had broken off my original air box on my 2010 Dodge Avenger so I bought this replacement. The fit was good and it was easy to install. I’m giving it 4 stars because the hole for the intake temperature sensor was just a hair larger than the stock one so the sensor had some play in it. I ended up replacing the sensor itself so the gasket would be fresh. The new sensor has a tighter fit but still a small amount of play (see video).
