Everything was correct about this headlight assembly except for the one mounting assembly (see photo). The one on the right is the old one, which goes into the hole easily and snaps and locks into place. The one on the left will not go into the hole. The slots you see are deceiving, in that they make it look like flexible fingers around it that will lock it into the hole. They are not, they are as solid as the rest of the body. Given that it has a groove around it, I think it's meant for a different vehicle which uses a clip which slides into the groove and locks it in. In any case, it's certainly not for my model. I struggled for at least half and hour trying to get this to go into the hole, thinking I just needed the right amount of force to push it through, until I realized those "fingers" weren't the lease bit flexible. The hold it's meant to go through is in fiberglass, and once I realized that, I knew I could have easily broken the fiberglass trying to force the head of this thing through it. If you buy these headlights, either left or right, take a look at my photo before trying to install them, and make sure you have the right one for your vehicle. A word to Dorman: I've been buying your products since the early 80's. Since then, you've been my go-to brand for any aftermarket replacement part. I've bought hundreds of your products over the years, both from the HELP aisle, and Dorman branded parts. So far, this is the only problem part I've gotten from your company. I sincerely hope poor QC won't be on ongoing problem for you. ... show more

Owned (7) Fords in past 40yrs. Presently (3) 1996 Eddie Bauer Bronco, 1998 Explorer XLT and, 2010 Mercury Mariner Premier. This Dorman 4PC Set is made as well if not better than Motorcraft, as all Dorman replacement parts used in the past. Window Regulators, Blower Resistors, Ignition Switches Ect... Yes I am a Dorman Fan. Price, Quality. Have yet to replace a Dorman part a second time. I have experience, more than some less than others. Simple plug and play after a few screw removals. Many youtube videos to help the unsure installer. The 4PC Set appearance is ditto to Motorcraft. My Headlights came with "New" light bulbs installed. Passenger Signal Parking Lights arrived with "No" bulbs as listed. 4PC Set Driver- Passenger Headlight/Signal Parking Light is a Great Value under $110.00 all-in. Happy to toss the 20yr old tarnished set. UPDATED PICS 4-29-19. Before and after pictures. Showing with new bumper,grill,head/fog lights. ... show more

Definitely not even close to the quality of the original, but still decently made and does the job. The included headlight bulb by Au-Lite is GARBAGE...within 2-3 hours of use, the bulb exploded in the headlight.

Headlight install on these trucks (explorer) isn't the easiest of installs (mainly removing the old ones) but once figured out these dropped in perfectly, just like factory without issue. The build quality is good IMO and they come with bulbs.
