We ordered these for my daughter's lofted dorm bed. Despite the listing saying "Made of premium hard plastic, this step pad offers solid, reliable support" - they appear to be 3D printed and not very strong. They did not fit her bed, so we could not try them - however, they did not appear to be weight bearing. The biggest problem is trying to return them! Somehow, they are classified as a mattress, which means that in order to make a return, you have to schedule a pick-up. (I am seeing people mention this now, but when I ordered, I did not see those reviews sadly) I requested a pick-up time for Oct 1, and it was confirmed via email. I then received another email from the service provider, I presume, confirming the pick-up for Oct 2. One says to place on my front porch. The other says an adult must be present. Thankfully, I am able to be here both days, but this is absurd! The box is literally 3" x 4.75" x 5.5". I hope they send someone super-strong or a pair of folks to be able to team-lift this 4.8 oz "mattress.

DO NOT BUY! The broke before any weight was even put on them after waiting for weeks for them to ship. Junk. Also, when you go through the return process, it ask what was wrong with the mattress and you have to call for a special pick up because the item is too large for a regular return... it's not a mattress and it's not large. Just seems like a scam.

The steps were nice for my son to use on his college dorm bed, but he recently called and said 2 of his 3 foot supports have snapped in half. He needs more, but I'm hesitant to purchase again as he has only had these for a little over a month.

This item is hard plastic and slides across the rungs at the end of a lofted bed. I was hoping that it was firm rubber and would fit snuggly on the rungs. Sadly, it is neither those two things.
