This is a high quality, genuine leather bag. My intention is for this to one day be a vintage piece I gift to my daughter on her 18th birthday and I have ZERO doubts that with the right care and storage this bag will make it there 14yrs from now. Like other reviews said, this bag is very heavy but that doesn’t bother me personally. Tonsss of space inside with a zip pocket and 2 side pockets. My wife was so excited to get this. When we opened the box and started checking it out we were flabbergasted. Maybe it’s a knock off. The “hardware” is plastic and the leather is super flimsy and paper thin. We returned it immediately and went to the Dooney website and got a real one.

Well built purse, I was hesitant to make this purchase after seeing some of the reviews, however, would buy again, no zipper problems, fresh leather smell, just wish this satchel came in black!

Opening is small and hard to get in and out of, zipper is scratchy. interior pockets are not secured, don't reach the bottom and kind of "float" not a real sturdy purse to get in and out of. Bit of a disappointment. Prefer to find something used with a "higher end" finish one expects from such a company ... show more
