I'm 5' 10" and use this as a sling purse. It's not to big, not too small. I don't know why there are reviews that mention the strap is too narrow. It is a narrow strap, but plenty wide enough for a sling bag, and unless you're putting in too many heavy things it doesn't dig into your shoulder. It has enough holes to adjust the length of the strap. Nice pockets for phone, sunglasses, wallet and keys and more. Plenty of room, nicely lined.
