Pros: It's solid, has great battery life (with my use I get about 3-4 days runtime before needing to charge), survives water (dropped in sink of warm soapy water by accident), and the thermal camera is better than I was expecting. The night vision is amazing and the 'super' night vision works way better than expected. The biolock on the side works well, I was a little concerned about it but no longer. Cons: Not as loud as I was expecting, since it was advertised with 4 speakers, but still louder than most phones. Call volume is a bit lacking, often I just put it on speaker. This my 1st Dodgee phone. I'm coming from a umidigi bison GT2 pro 5g. This phone is better in CPU and battery performance. Night vision and thermal is a great option for me due to being a maintenance worker. Only place this phone lacks is the camera. The pics are not bad, but my bison GT2 did take better pics. I also switched from At&t to T-Mobile. TMobile are unlocked phone friendly and operates better. I'm satisfied with my purchase mainly for the thermal camera. It is accurate and has many features. Switching from a Samsung, this is a way better phone. I read some complaints about the software freezing, but I didn't have that issue. However, I downloaded Nova Launcher to use instead of the default, so maybe that's why (I just prefer some of its features). The thermal imaging camera is awesome, although it's takes a while to start up when you launch it. Also, it's not immediately clear, but to access the thermal camera, launch the "infiRay" app. I didn't even realize at first, but the normal camera has a night vision mode you can turn on as well. Of course, the battery life is amazing, and I normally only charge it ever 3 or so days. No complaints about the speed or performance. It also has an "extra dim" setting for the screen brightness, which I like to use at night. ... show more

Returning because the picture quality is really low, worse than a $100 bottom of the line phone I have in some respects (it can only take super close range photos in any kind of quality). Awesome smartphone. Nightvision works good, more than 5 meter at least. Waterproof is OK but if you are listening to music or any audio and it gets wet, automatically volume is reduced by hardware, i thing so because software volumen shows the volume bar but doesn't work after it gets dry again, so speakers are protected against humidity. Rear camera has great quality. Thermal camera works great so you can make heat maps or take a look how hot are telcom devices, machines, pipes or anything you want. Battery life is good (10800 mAh) however device is bulky and kind of heavy because of that. Issues and problems: Fingerprint reader works ok except when your fingers are kind of wet. Because of my work and high temperatures my fingers get wet frecuently so my fingerprints are not recognized and must use PIN to unlock. Another issue is that where I am leaving now (Ecuador, South America), GSM devices must be registered and therefore I need FCC ID but there is no FCC ID on the box label nor on the smartphone label. I have searched fot it on Google and FCC ID search tool but I cannot find the FCC ID for Doogee V31GT. I will not be able to use this smartphone in this country (as well as neighbour countries thus they have telcom treaties) unless I can find FCC ID for this device. That is why my 3/5 (low) rate. If I can find FCC ID i will increase my rate. ... show more

I bought this for the infrared camera option, but love everything else even more. Battery life is unbelievable. I only charge it up about once a week, and the charger included recharges it in a matter of a few hours. I've also hooked it up to other sources for charging, which takes considerably longer, but will do the trick overnight. Right now, it's been three days since last charging, and it's still at 91%. The other cameras deliver incredibly sharp imaging, and set in "Night Vision" mode, operate in extreme low light conditions. The only draw back is it's hard to find a case to fit over it.
