I am often leery of trusting Amazon reviews because of some bad experiences but these curtains appeared to be what I needed to match my new quilt, so I gave them a try. I am completely satisfied with the purchase. The material is a heavy polyester fabric, and although mine are coral, they do a great job of blocking light. The coral color is more orange that I really wanted but I think they go well with my quilt anyway, so I didn't return. There is no unsightly plastic backing, just a nice thick fabric that feels smooth and appears to be of good quality. My bedroom has a west window and we have fierce sunlight to go with our 100 plus temps, but the curtains have blocked much of the heat and most of the light nicely. The wrinkles have not yet shaken out but I'm confident that they will when I pop them in the dryer for a few minutes. ... show more

They are soft, look nice and block out 75% of light (we got beige). But they aren't blackouts. I pinned them behind my existing linen curtains using the curtain rings that hang them. I really like the way it turned out and an happy to not have blinding Eastern dun on days we get to sleep in, but they are overpriced. I saw very similar color/ style curtains at Walmart for $9. Pretty shade of pink. They were much thicker than l expected which is a plus to filter out light and noise. Hang nicely. A quick spin in the dryer got out all wrinkles from packaging.

Fabric is very thick, does not let light through. Had a few lines from where it was folded in packaging, but nothing offensive. Theyโ€™re beautiful and great quality!! They added some beautiful color to my bathroom!
