  • Good Product, Great Value, Use the CORRECT Charger & Cable!
Size: EM2 Color: Grey
IMPORTANT (Charging): This unit is meant to charge USB-A to USB-C only. Use the included cable and a basic “old-school” USB-A wall charger. Many modern USB-C → USB-C chargers won’t deliver power unless the device does a USB-C “handshake” (like an iPhone). The EM2 isn’t an iPhone, so it looks dead when it’s not. USB-A chargers just send 5V immediately, so it charges normally. Again, use the cable like the one it came with, NOT your modern iPhone charger. Real-world use: I’ve used five EM2s for years in a working studio with no issues. I send each musician a custom headphone mix from Logic (mono to save outputs) into the EM2 via balanced 1/4” TRS out → XLR in. They control their own volume at the beltpack. Tips: If you hear clipping/distortion, it’s usually YOUR gain staging (feeding the EM2 too hot). Put a limiter on your headphone bus for ear safety, and a simple EQ helps more than just “turn it up” (e.g., a little 3 kHz boost can make vocals feel louder without more volume). A high-pass filter on headphone mixes also reduces rumble/mud that typically builds up while tracking. Bottom line: if yours “won’t charge,” try USB-A → USB-C before assuming it’s broken. ... show more

  • Great alternative to Behringer p1 unit
Size: EM2 Color: Grey
At the church i play the drums we have the Behringer p1. The Donner EM2 is a good replacement if it has been broken. VERY IMPORTNANT. PLEASE USE THE CABLE IN THE BOX. now usb c to usb c will not work, the light will not turn on red when charging. so use the cable in the box. If you want a longer cable, you will need two items Ugreen Usb A to usb c adapter and Ugreen Usb c to usb c cable extension. NOW VERY IMPORTANT. The cable that comes in the box has to be plugged into the Donner EM1 OR EM2 to charge. I have a video demonstrating what order i put it in to charge the Donner EM2. plug the cable that came with the EM2 into the EM2 then take the usb end and plug it into the Ugreen usb to usb c adapter. Then take the usb c to usb c extension and plug it into the usb c adapter, plug it into your usb c charger or surge protector and it will turn red to charge and turn blue when fully charged. ... show more

  • My Donner Headphone Amp died in the middle of church service
Size: EM2 Color: Grey
I received my Donner Headphone Amp on August 9, 2025. It took two weeks to set up my church sound system with a dedicated auxiliary feed so I could hear all the band members. On October 27, 2025, I was in the middle of a church service when my headphone amp died. All I could do was pull out my In-Ear Monitors and do the best I could to get through the service. I charged the headphone amp that Saturday night as always, and all seemed in order during early morning practice. The headphone amp will not reproduce sound in either input channel, and the LED's battery status will not illuminate. I went online to see if I could return the headphone amp but saw the return window had expired. I have no other recourse but to purchase another headphone amp. I am greatly disappointed with this product as I was the one trying to get the rest of the praise team to switch over to in-ear monitors. needless to say I will not purchase another product from Donner. **UPDATE** I was in the process of packing my Donner Headphone amp to send it back. I noticed I had left the amp on for two days. I decided to try charging the amp one last time and to my surprise, it starting charging the battery. I have used the Donner Headphone amp consistently for two months with no problems. I had heard a theory on battery memory where you have to completely discharge the battery before attempting to charge it completely; this may be the case. I now have no qualms in recommending this headphone amp to anyone and everyone. If you need a headphone amp with two input ports, this is the one you need. Thank you Donner for your patience. ... show more

  • Works well and battery lasts.
Size: EM2 Color: Grey
This works just fine, don't get me wrong. But I bought it before the $20 reduction and at that price I realize now that I should've got one with a DAC (iykyk). But with the $20 off and no need for a DAC, this is very good equipment and I like that is basically impossible to accidently turn off.

  • Great Little Wired IEM Solution
Size: EM2 Color: Grey
I've been using a little mixer for my personal IEM mix on stage. It was inconvenient to make changes because I had to keep it on the floor next to my pedal board because of the size. I clip this to my music stand and it is very convenient to change the mix and volume. I don't like clipping it to my body or instrument strap, but I'm sure that would work for some people. The sound is just fine and I'm not missing the eq from the mixer at all. The combo XLR 1/4" jacks are a nice touch and makes it easy for me to plug in the send from front of house and my instrument from my DI. Battery life seems very long. I charge it between gigs and have never had it run out of juice. ... show more

  • Works well, but not exactly as described
Size: EM2 Color: Grey
UPDATE: The seller contacted me and offered a full refund since the item didn't meet expectations. Since the item worked, and I did need such a product for a gig, RIGHT AWAY, I did not take them up on it. However, this shows that Donner does care about its customers, and is quick to make things right. Please read the below in light of this. ---------------------- ORIGINAL: I want to be clear - before stating my gripes - that this does in fact "work". It supports the inputs and outputs stated. It is rechargeable, etc. Where I am not happy are a couple areas: 1. The device is not as loud as I had envisioned. I am guessing this is due to potential for long term use and high volumes causing ear damage. Fair enough. With good isolation eartips on the in ears, it IS enough, just not anything to spare. 2. There is nowhere in the docs, description, etc.describing the microphone stand mount size. I found a single review on a different site claiming the female adapter takes a 3/8" male mic stand end. I don't know if that is correct yet, so I bought a mic stand female/ male adapter set to be prepared no matter what. A small but extra, unnecessary expense. 3. Major pet peeve.. The STEREO mode does NOT work as expected. I wanted a mix of TWO STEREO SOURCES, and this device DOES NOT DO THAT. Each of the TRS/XLR inputs is capable of taking a stereo signal, but when MONO is selected each input is summed mono and the the two are mixed. When STEREO mode is selected, each XLR/TRS input is mono summed and sent to ONLY ONE SIDE, the side indicated on the input, and the mix knob changes the relative volume of the two ears/sides. #3 Really has me not liking the device. I could have spent the same on a 2 channel stereo mixer, and had a real stereo mix in the monitors. This is misleading as the STEREO mode here is really just a L vs R mono mode. If you want 2 stereo inputs (or even 1 stereo input, mixed with a single mono Input) this device indicates it supports it (both inputs are stereo capable plugs, and there is a stereo mode switch on device) BUT IT DOES NOT. LOOK ELSEWHERE. This is my biggest disappointment - the text and descriptions and manual are false advertising in my opinion. ... show more

  • TRS AND XLR INPUTS
Size: EM2 Color: Grey
Use this as a personal monitor/IEM with 2 bands. Run my monitor mix through 1 input and my metronome click through 2nd input. There is a balance control to set volumes and a master volume. HAS XLR AND TRS INPUTS so whatever monitor outputs your mixer board has will work easily. Has rechargeable battery or you can use USB c to charge or power. This works well. ... show more
