  • Reliable and useful

It works, as simple as that. You can charge it during use so it always works. You don't have to worry about batteries anymore

  • Nice replacement for Behringer
Size: EM1
I purchased this to replace a Behringer P1. Although the Behringer has a metal body and appears to be rugged, I have purchased 2 over the last 4 years because they simply fail. They haven't even been used all that much. I'm not sending Behringer any more of my money. I found this Donner EM1 online and purchased it. The EM1 is smaller with a plastic body and cheaper than the Behringer. I was disappointed that it was plastic. But it is much lighter and hardly feels like I'm wearing it. The P1 was so heavy, I definitely felt like it was there. If I didn't wear a belt, it made my pocket sag. The EM1 is very light. The sound quality appears no different than the P1. So far, I'm very happy with the EM1. I'll report back if it fails. ... show more

  • Does what it says!
Size: EM1
Tested this at home first. Plugged in headphones and powered on. Noticed a little bit of white noise, very quiet and tolerable though. Plugged in the xlr to my bass DI and it sounded great. Brought it to rehearsal. Plugged it into our mixer where a typical wireless IEM unit would get plugged in. And it worked perfect! Was able to hear the click and the full mix, plenty of volume on tap. Seems like the battery is going to last really long too. Really happy to have this for situations where I can have a wireless IEM unit. Definitely recommend for the price ... show more

  • Great headphone amp for musicians who don't move around on stage
Size: EM2
So far, this is a great unit. I've used it on 2 gigs, and it's worked perfectly. I would definitely recommend this to someone looking to get into using in ear monitors at a low entry price point. This unit has a similar feature set to the Behringer Powerplay P1. It is at a higher price point which is part of the reason I gave it a 4 star rating. It's construction isn't as heavy duty as the Behringer. The clip is made from thinner metal, the body is constructed from plastic instead of metal, the battery isn't replaceable, and the mounting point is to EU standard 3/8" screw type only. Unlike the Behringer P1, its battery is rechargeable, it has 2 headphone outs, and most importantly the amount of power available for the headphones is greater. I have used the P1 and it's max volume is almost loud enough. It also has XLR and TRS input ability which makes it more flexible than the P1. There are a couple downsides to this unit that aren't deal breakers for me but should be taken into consideration. The power/charging port is located on the top year the headphone jacks. If you do want to work with it while it's charging the design could make it more difficult. The plastic construction feels a little cheap in the hands. The power switch on the side also feels a bit cheap. I suspect there's a normal switch like the mono/stereo switch on the top of the unit, that's just attached under the plastic switch that feels low quality. This unit does act as a mini 2 channel mixer if you use it in mono mode. This is the main reason I purchased it. I had been using a small mixer for many of my gigs so I could have a separate input for a metronome. This allows me to do that easily and cuts down on how much stuff I need to have on stage. I've been very happy with this unit so far and would recommend it to someone with the same or similar needs. ... show more

  • Excellent In Ear monitor unit.
Size: EM1
I do live sound, and this unit has a built in battery that charges via Usb type C. Very good for quick trouble shooting on stage when you have AUX sends issues .

  • Great Little Wired IEM Solution
Size: EM2
I've been using a little mixer for my personal IEM mix on stage. It was inconvenient to make changes because I had to keep it on the floor next to my pedal board because of the size. I clip this to my music stand and it is very convenient to change the mix and volume. I don't like clipping it to my body or instrument strap, but I'm sure that would work for some people. The sound is just fine and I'm not missing the eq from the mixer at all. The combo XLR 1/4" jacks are a nice touch and makes it easy for me to plug in the send from front of house and my instrument from my DI. Battery life seems very long. I charge it between gigs and have never had it run out of juice. ... show more

  • My Donner Headphone Amp died in the middle of church service
Size: EM2
I received my Donner Headphone Amp on August 9, 2025. It took two weeks to set up my church sound system with a dedicated auxiliary feed so I could hear all the band members. On October 27, 2025, I was in the middle of a church service when my headphone amp died. All I could do was pull out my In-Ear Monitors and do the best I could to get through the service. I charged the headphone amp that Saturday night as always, and all seemed in order during early morning practice. The headphone amp will not reproduce sound in either input channel, and the LED's battery status will not illuminate. I went online to see if I could return the headphone amp but saw the return window had expired. I have no other recourse but to purchase another headphone amp. I am greatly disappointed with this product as I was the one trying to get the rest of the praise team to switch over to in-ear monitors. needless to say I will not purchase another product from Donner. **UPDATE** I was in the process of packing my Donner Headphone amp to send it back. I noticed I had left the amp on for two days. I decided to try charging the amp one last time and to my surprise, it starting charging the battery. I have used the Donner Headphone amp consistently for two months with no problems. I had heard a theory on battery memory where you have to completely discharge the battery before attempting to charge it completely; this may be the case. I now have no qualms in recommending this headphone amp to anyone and everyone. If you need a headphone amp with two input ports, this is the one you need. Thank you Donner for your patience. ... show more
