This is a specialized scent. It's really nice but will probably last the rest of my life. I wouldn't personally wear it as a daily scent but it's perfect for a special occasion if you want to stand out from the crowd. I don't pick up on the oud or a middle eastern vibe in general. It's the original The One DNA minus tobacco plus rose and safron. This is a very strong scent. Over spray and people will be tasting this scent, no joke. I think the rose is a bit strong in the opening but it kinda has to be to last the duration on the scent. The rose does fade but it is always present. While I like it in the opening it really comes to life a few hours in when the rose calms down and allows the original DNA to shine through. Everyone says this is a rose oud fragrance but for me this is all about rose and amber. IMO it would be perfect if it had a smoky incense or wood note in the base but I like it quite a bit as is.

I blind bought Mysterious Night, based on multiple reviews that made it sound interesting and pleasant. That was a mistake. I found nothing pleasant about it. The opening smells like dirt and grapefruit, with a hint of rose. The mid is astringent and burning. It smells like a sharp, smoky incense. After about 4 hours, it is still astringent and it smells like witch hazel and gunpowder, with a faint remnant of the incense smell. At no point do I smell any similarity to the original "The One" or the EDP. I also don't smell any vanilla or tonka. After about 2 hours of wear, I asked someone else to smell the fragrance on me, from about 3-4 feet away. Their response was to cough, scrunch up their face and say "It burns! Ugh, no! It's bad." Unfortunately, I have to agree. Good longevity, fair projection, awful fragrance. Of course, your opinion of the fragrance may vary.

This smells great ๐ two sprays in the morning at 7am and I can smell it at midnight still laying in bed. Very potent stuff! Very exotic and very spicy scent! Laser etched glass as well for authenticity with serial number. I highly recommend.

If you want a truly bold yet wonderfully appeasing scent,this is for you.It has a middle eastern vibe,yet a universal appeal. I feel that anyone who tries it will truly appreciate it. Do yourself a favor "live" and try this fragrance.
