So this style short keeps popping up on my #founditonamazon page. Im pleasantly surprised at how they fit. Im Hispanic so I knew the color would be fine with my skin tone and the length is perfect. Being plus size, I usually run 18/20 in jeans/shorts. I cautiously chose a size 3XL to be safe and they fit well. I dont have a booty so its alittle baggy in the rear but its still flattering. They’re perfect for the hot weather in So Cal. Im really happy with the purchase I might order another color and pair it up with a linen button up. I wish the fabric was softer but its cool. Overall pretty happy with the purchase.

Purchased the shorts in camouflage, size XXL. I am 5'7" 220, and the shorts fit as expected / were maybe a little large in the waist and the rear, but they were very short and showed off my underwear when I bent over. The material is thick and very soft and the shorts were quite comfortable. I am keeping them for sleep shorts. Update 3 months later : I love these shorts. The material remains extremely soft on the inside and non-pulling on the outside. Just enough stretch to be comfortable and hold their shape well. I wish they made longer lounge pants or pjs from this material - I would definitely buy them!!!

These shorts are extremely comfortable and breathable. They're perfect for a beach or boat day as a cover up, or for lounging around. However, they are quite a bit larger than I had expected and have a LOT of stretch to them, so you'll be pulling the drawstring tight. Due to how large they fit they are not very flattering, and are not a pair of shorts I would go out and about in. My partner told me they looked like granny shorts! I'm 5'3 and 115lbs and got a small, would definitely go with the extra small if I were to do it again.

Wanted to update the review. I bought the black and navy shorts and a green flowered pair. The fabric differed from the solid to the flowered pair. The flowered pair were considerably more comfortable however they pilled on the first day from my purse touching them while I walked. All had too small of a waist band so the elastic folded over and was uncomfortable. The sold pairs were also uncomfortable as the fabric was heavy and the back side got stretchy and felt like a wet diaper. Fabric is too heavy for Florida weather. Original review: Bought the black shorts and they felt a bit heavy but after a washing they softened a bit. They wrinkled badly though and need to be ironed. Even with that, due to the fact they covered the tummy area nicely I bought a navy pair. The fabric was the same as the black pair. Then decided to buy the light green pair with the leaf design. They came today and are a completely different fabric...very comfortable but are stretchy like jersey. They do not hide flaws as well as the black and navy pairs but are considerably more comfortable. Did not see a difference in the description so I was a bit startled. Would have a higher rating if the fabric was consistent as I wouldn’t have known the difference.
