The sweater is cute - though not 3/4 length sleeves. The sweater received is short sleeved. Might be an error - but no way to reach the seller to verify. Plan to keep - though unlikely to wear before spring since it is also quite thin material.

After reading reviews about this shrinking in the wash, I ordered a large and hoped it would shrink. I've washed & worn it three times so far. I used a garment bag, cold water, high spin, and low dry. I hung it on a hanger to measure it - it is now 21" armpit-to-armpit (42" total) and 22" long. I'm 5'1", so that is a good length for me. I was hoping it would shrink a bit more in the width though, because I feel like boxy cuts draw too much attention to my chest. There are a few yarn ends sticking out on the inside, likely because I've been machine drying it instead of laying it flat to air dry. The sweater is viscose, but it feels like cotton and is just as heavy and slow to dry. I dried it with my cotton t-shirts & yoga pants and put it back in the dryer by itself for an extra 10 minutes after everything else was dry. I don't think this has to be worn with a layer underneath. I've worn it alone and with a lightweight top. I'm wondering if maybe the different colors are slightly different weights, if deliberately trying to shrink it made it less see-through, or if I'm just not as modest as I think I am. I took the picture while holding it up on a hanger in front of (4) 60 watt equivalent LED bulbs at night, so you can decide for yourself. If you like a low-key bohemian feel, this will fit perfectly into your wardrobe. I've worn it with faded slim-cut jeans and with relaxed khakis and gotten compliments on it both ways.

I am returning this sweater for shrinkage and poor quality. Upon receiving it everything looked good, it fit well, was even a bit oversized, and the green color vibrant. Washed one time with cold water in a delicates bag and laid it flat to dry. When it had dried I saw it shrank by about 50% and the seam on one arm was unraveling uncontrollably. I am grateful that Amazon let me return the item. Sad because it was very cute upon the initial try-on…buyer beware!

I really like the feel of the material and the overall fit. Happy with the purchase and I will order another color. Actually, I’m surprised that some people said they were see-through. Mine is not see-through at all. I bought a black one. It’s thicker than some of the photos I’m seeing I’m beginning to wonder if it’s hit and miss on what you actually receive. VERY DISAPPOINTED AFTER WASHING. I WASHED IN COLD, GENTLE, LAY FLAT TO DRY AND SHRUNK SO MUCH ITS NO GOOD. AND I BOUGHT TWO!!!! SHRUNK EVERYWHERE..
