I thought this was a fuzzy, chunky sweater. It is not. It has an open basket weave pattern. I found every time I went to put my hands in the pockets, my fingers ended up in the basket weave holes instead. I did return it, it was not even close to what I wanted. I normally wear an L or XL if I want more room to put something under it. I ordered this in an XL and I could have worn a t shirt under it but nothing more. The XL fit like an L.
