Features

  • [REAL-WORLD POWER] Rated 400W at STC; actual output varies with sun angle, temperature, shading, cable runs, and controllerMPPT helps keep charging steadier.
  • [3 m MC4 CABLELONGER REACH] 3 m (9.84 ft) leads give more routing freedom than short-lead panels, often reducing extra extensions and joints. Cleaner runs, fewer weak links.
  • [12V: USE PARALLEL] For most 12 V systems, parallel wiring delivers more stable performance; use series only if your controller explicitly supports higher input voltage.
  • [FEWER JOINTS VS 4100W] One 400W panel replaces four 100W unitsfewer branch pieces and connections, faster install, less risk of power loss from bad joints.
  • [OUTDOOR-READY BUILD] Tempered glass and aluminum frame with a sealed junction boxdesigned for rain and splashes in yard/garden applications.

  • No Amps from 2 of 3. (Fixed)
Update: I repaired an mca connection and the panel started to work. It was producing 9 amps so I decided to keep it. Put it on the roof and now it’s producing 15 amps in direct sunlight. I am impressed. Purchased to renogy 200 watt flux panels and this is producing almost double the power. I upgraded to 5 stars because of the price difference. I will see how long this thing last though. Update: Amazon returned three and sent out one replacement. I was extremely happy that the replacement produced 9 amps, which is still underperforming of what the stated specs were. But, I thought maybe the first set were part of a bad batch. Not even a week later the new one has failed. I talked to several companies about this issue to understand better what could cause this issue. One of the companies I spoke with was Renogy and I decided to try them out. If their panels fail then it’s something with my equipment. If they don’t fail, then, these companies selling solar panels should be investigated. I will update any new information on this situation. I ordered two panels previously to ordering one from this company. The first worked but only produced about 140 watts of power. I was going to keep it because of the price even though it was a pain to get up on the roof. The third came in and didn’t produce any amperage. Yes, I know to switch my leads over on a multimeter. After this, I immediately tested the second only to discover it as well didn’t produce any amperage. I contacted Amazon for their number on file and it wasn’t in service. I have no choice but to repackage all of them and send these back. ... show more

  • Replaced my Gas Generator!
This $270 solar panel has replaced my $500 gas generator when I camp. Using the gas generator costs me about $30 a day in gas. This solar panel will have paid for itself in 9 days!!! No more smelly, expensive and noisy generator interrupting nature and my camp!! No more getting up at 2AM because the generator is out of gas. Lying flat, it produces 10-13 amps an hour for at least 6 hours per day, plenty for a small camper. Plenty more electric is produced throughout the days hours as well. Easy to use, being my first large solar panel, I was worried about correct installation. From opening the packaging to hooking it up to the charge controller took me about 10 minutes. One last benefit- it is large enough to cover a substantial part of my camper roof and it gives me shade and a cooler camper. Easy, cheap, powerful solar panel!!! ... show more

  • Fantasic.. so far better than suitcase
More efficient than my EF suitcase 400w portable. Heavy, yes! Mostly glass. Have the EF and this charging Pro and extra battery. Will pull 25w 75w and up to around 300. Long connector wire! Frame could be better seems solid to me. Got rid of 2nd 400w suitcase for this one. Mc4 connection hooked right up to Y connector. Only issue the positive plug very hard to push down on tiny numbs to unlock connector. Connector tool not wide enough. Use either needle nose pilers or stant tip tweezers. Those nubs seem fragile hope they hold up. These will work even w some shade on it. (Microinvertor) vs ? Kind that need full sun on entire panel area or dosen't work at all. Not bifacial either. Overall price is right, great panel! Will update if any changes. ... show more

  • 150w not 400w
This solar panel has become a nightmare. I have it under direct Arizona sun and I'm only getting 150w instead of 400. This thing is huge and it was pain setting up, now I have to bring down again and schedule amazon to have it picked up. What a waste of time.

  • Works with EcoFlow pro
Works great connected to my EcoFlow pro.

  • Big power right out of box!
Fantastic panel came carefully packed and delivered. It's light enough for me to maneuver around without help. In few minutes plugged into my ecoflow delta and the watts start pouring in. Will have to do some experimenting to get most out of it but extremely impressed so far. I fooled around with wiring up arrays of smaller panels but should have immediately gone for the full size one right off the bat. Thanks amazon! ... show more

  • weak frame? but ok.
The frame has a bend/deformation in it. don't know if it was shipped like that, if the delivery courier did it or if I did it loading and unloading into truck to transport to intended destination. doesnt really matter. it appears the frame is a bit weak for the weight. hasnt caused any issues (beyond the warping in that spot. but I am slightly worried about it collapsing or something. The panel is the biggest one I've ever implemented. a little heavy/bulky for me (I do have a muscle condition/disability) but I was able to get it in place. I definitely felt nervous picking it up. it has the feeling like it's gonna break in half. but, of course it didn't, I only got 60-70 watts in full sun. but it was full voltage (and I know the batteries were completely full) so I assume the controller was controlling and recharging in float to replenish the small amount I was using. I can get 3 of these on my Victron 100/50. which will be awesome. I've been screwing around with 300 watts (in the form of 3 panels) but decided to massively upgrade to be able to run some AC and (electric) heat off grid. this fit the bill so far. I like Dokio. I've got another soft backed, foldable panel by them that I really like. if I did it again. id probably go with 300 watt panels for the lighter weight but I'm satisfied. Update... I've only been able to get 225 ish watts max on this so far.. Only a couple of days messing with it as I'm not normally out where these are installed. I felt like they were in about the best spot possible to get full wattage. I was about to buy another but I'll hold off until I can confirm (near) full wattage. I had been pulling 220 watts max for about a year. so I finally "upgraded" to the 200 watt bifacials I've been using and loving. 2 of those yielded the same power. so I instantly recognized (well, after a year) that my controller was the bottleneck. I bought a small 24v inverter and wired my 2 batteries in series and changed the voltage on the controller to 24. I'm pulling in a record 240 watts at 9:50 AM. Should be able to get to a full 400+ now. Stupid on my part! I moved to native 24v batteries and have my controller set at 24v and have still been unable to get above 300 on this panel. I'm dropping to 3 stars. Considering I just got 1300 watts on 1200 watts of panels with a different brand (callsun bifacials) I see no reason to keep screwing with these. ... show more
