I gave a four-star rating b/c zipper is broken and as I was trying to fix a bunch of threads came off. I doubt it will be a big deal tho. It would be handy to know where each pillow goes.

In my den, my cats like to lounge in one of the 3 windows and watch the critters in a peach tree just a few feet beyond the window. They've been using 2 stacks of 2 old chair cushions, and I thought that maybe one larger dog bed might be cozier for them. The bed arrived in a box inside an Amazon shipping box. Inside the product box were two plastic encased cylinder shaped rolls. I didn't want to risk damaging the bed, so I didn't cut into the cylinders. Instead, I worked at tugging each roll free of its plastic bag. The filler was in one, while the furry shell was in the other. Be very careful unzipping the shell to insert the filler. There were several places where the zipper seam was caught up in the zipper teeth - they were visible on the outside poking through the closed zipper teeth. I used some needle-pointed tweezers to carefully lift the threads off the zipper teeth. Eventually I cleared these and got the zipper fully opened so that I could insert the filling. The bed is large and soft. I put it in their window spot and am waiting to find out if they will reject it forever or give it a try. They're cats and not thrilled with any environmental changes.

Works great! You can strap them in if you prefer. I choose not to do this and they were fine because they understand the stay command! The pup had undergone eye surgery and I knew he was tucked away safe in his pet seat!

Our 18-month-old puppy completely rejected the first bed we ordered as a replacement for her old and worn bed so I wasn't sure if she'd take to this. But as soon as I assembled it, she wanted to get on it, which was a surprise. I first introduced it in the same room as her old bed and even sat and read on it for a bit. She immediately curled up next to me and rested her head off the bumper. After a few days, we swapped out her old bed and put it in the car, and put this in its place. She loves snuggling up on it and napping during the day. She isn't even getting up on her blanket on our bed as frequently. She's about 40 pounds and this is a great size for her since she doesn't weigh that much but she's really long when she stretches out! I'm so pleased with this dog bed and our puppy is in heaven. This was also a huge win considering she wouldn't even sniff the other bed I had tried! It's soft, seems durable and like it will wash easily, and it was simple to slip the cover on the interior pillow. Recommend!

For almost as long as I've had them, my dogs have aimed to be connoisseurs of soft comfortable surfaces. Beds over couches, pillows over blankets, and like humans, seem to appreciate having a slightly elevated place to lay their heads, so the slightly raised edges on this dog bed seem to have won them over. Overall, the bed was pretty tightly vacuum-packed when it arrived but after opening it up and letting it expand to its natural size after a couple of days we set it up for the dogs to enjoy. The size and setup pretty much match with what was listed and in a couple of weeks of use no obvious damage so overall seems to be a win-win.
