The collar device shuts down on a regular basis even though fully charged and synced to the remote. The remote does not “see” the collar as it does not show the charging level. This causes an issue as we think the Dog is under our control when she is not. We have tried every resolution to no avail. Pros: I like the buttons as they don't get "stuck" thus continuously inadvertently correcting the animal. The size of the remote fits in most pockets very well without danger of falling out. The vibration & electric modes are able to be adjusted in strength which is great. We have two dogs (note this is a one dog system) and one needs the higher setting to be effective but the other dog is compliant at much lower setting levels. Cons: I absolutely can't stand having to charge the handheld. Batteries would be preferable. I get charging the collar more as batteries would make it bulkier. The other thing is that when you plug in the collar to charge it automatically turns off. This could be a safety thing but if you forget to turn back on you don't have correction ability! My shepherd ran away but thankfully he ran next door to his favorite doggie friends house! Doesn't come in different colors - would be nice to have a second one with a different color for the second dog so we could easily tell them apart. Biggest grievances 1. The handheld is slick, has a slippery surface and have dropped several times as a result. 2. The button surfaces are just as slick as the surface of the entire remote - unless you have extremely sensitive fingertips it is hard to tell without looking at the handheld which button your finger / thumb is on. 3. The vibrate & sound are the same button but you press one side of the button to vibrate and the other side to sound. If in your pocket it's hard to tell. I err on side of looking at the handheld of this system before delivering a correction which often affords opportunity for a missed correction. Overall - I would still recommend this system as it does perform very well.

It has the option to vibrate, audio, or shock. Shock goes from 0-99 and i recommend testing it out on yourself first. Its labeled for small dogs but 15 was a decent shock. I havent tried 99 yet but well test that once my little brother lays down for a nap. The only complaint i have is the collar feels very cheap and i may end up replacing it with a more durable and comfortable one.

I used to be hesitant to buy a shock collar I thought they were inhuman. I changed my mind when I got a big dog. He is stubborn and still considered a puppy he's two and weights over 100 pounds and wants to play with everyone. he plays rough and when people see him coming, they run which makes him chase them. I got this collar and his behavior changed he does not run out the yard into the street and he comes back. I do not even have to use the shock feature after using it twice I beep or vibrate, and he comes back. I rarly have to use that all i have to do is pick up the remote and he comes back. the remote has an on off button the collar and the remote both charges. the lights indicate when its fully charged or when it needs charged no batteries, so you save on energy. wonderful product.

I have been trying to find a good training collar for almost a year without having to fork out loads of money. This is the first one that fit our budget and actually works on our 60lb dog!! We have been dealing with threshold issues with our dog for over a year, we’ve tried professional training, prong collars, various electric collars, leashes and more. Quite literally thousands have went into trying to keep her from attack our smaller dog when crossing the back door. After a go with this collar even on vibration she completely shifted and won’t even attempt to get him with this on?! It’s sooo easy to use and the design is sleek and simple! I wiped it off to clean it after use with a baby wipe and set it to dry without worry, the prongs were very easy to adjust for her hair. It came ready to use without having to charge it and shows the battery levels actively for ease which most of our other collars didn’t! The only downside is it’s not water proof but that’s okay, hopefully we don’t need it long!

I have a very aggressive large dog who hates men, and is prone to nipping at their ankles, and actually bit a friend. Choker chains and pinch collar did little. We shocked him a couple of times, and now all it takes is a vibration to bring him under control. Excellent training tool. Highly recommended for a dominant dog.

I have a dog who could get hours of exercise and still need more. She recently started digging under the fence and running our normal bike route alone. I ordered this shock collar to use when I see her trying to get through the gate. I haven’t shocked her but she is not a fan of the vibration and now associates the vibration with the fence. Overall this is a great collar with a nice look and good collar to button detection.

This collar works great. The remote has a on off switch on the side to prevent accidental correction which is a must have. The sound on the collar is loud and easy to hear. Vibration is strong and shock isn't too too bad. Overall it's a really good collar for the price.
