I bought this sweater for my 10 year old cat. It mostly fit him, but was a bit short from his shoulders to his underarms. I plan to cut the underarm of the sweater to see if that helps. I got him a medium--he weighs 9 lbs. I like the material as it's not too heavy or thin, it's just right.

Just got it! This is cute and well made. I'm so glad that I found these sweaters on Amazon! Do not hesitate to buy one. I've purchased several different colors. I bought one in medium for my toy cavapoo, Sugar, who is 10 Lbs with neck 9.5", chest 16", and back length of 13". I bought one that matches in XL for Ginger, my petite and very red cavapoo, of about 20 Lbs with neck 14", chest 23", and back 18". They both look like Christmas card dogs - adorable. The fit is very nice without nice being snug or too short - nothing silly looking. Very pretty and comfortable. This all started when I dressed up Sugar, she loves it and essentially walks right into the clothes as I hold them open for her. I didn't realize that Ginger wanted to wear them too. One day, she walked up and pushed Sugar out of the way and put her head into the dress that I held open. That was it. Now, they have to have matching outfits. I initially tried an XL for my 64lb mix , it was WAYYYY too big for her. Overall , if you want it to be used as an actual sweater it is very thin ; the color was spot on , my dog loved it , super cute. I am ordering a large to try.
