I built a new dog house for my sons two little dogs. We want to be able to keep them outside most of the time so we got this heater for the winter. When the weather's real bad, we'll bring them in anyway. One of the things I was concerned about was how hot the metal case was going to get After letting it heat for about 30 minutes in an environment where it would not come up temperature, I checked the outside case with a digital thermometer and it only read about 88 to 90 degrees on the sides. The front near the exhaust was up around 120 which is to be expected since that's where the hot air is coming out. I like the fact that has a fan and it circulates the heat. This is better than the old style that I've used in the past that was just a heating element. The fact that the controls come outside the doghouse is a big plus. We've have this installed under his porch, which has an awning over it, so the dog house won't get much rain on it anyway, but this is just kind of an extra feature so we don't have to go under there to make adjustments. If it works through a few winters it will be great.

This dog house heater works really good so far. It’s not really cold where I live just yet but I plugged it in anyway just to get a feel for it. It does blow very warm and it’s probably the quietest heater I have ever had in my life. It’s just quiet ! You can barely hear it and I clean that because initially I thought it wasn’t working until I stuck my hand in front of it and felt the heat coming out. They I was blown away because you really can’t hear it almost . I don’t think it would do well in a larger dog house or anything like that because the heat for me didn’t blow very hard. It just kinda stays to a low steady pace but it does work. Also they give you a bracket to slide it into which I personally like. I again hadn’t seen that type of design previously and so like it. It’s more functional.

This is perfect for my precious pups. Pepper gets a bit bored during the day and if he is inside he will make mischief and tear stuff up so he has to be outside while I am at work. I am concerned about him getting cold in the winter so I got him a dog house but I don't think it will be enough when it gets really cold outside. I don't know if the dog REALLY needs it but I need it for my own peace of mind. It is simple to set up and no special tools or knowledge are needed!

This is an Awesome Dog House Heater with a Thermostat and dog Heater for the Outside Dog House! If you really care about your dogs, you will get this heater!! It is extremely crucial if you don’t like having your dogs indoors because of shedding or company, or if you have too many to where you can’t keep them indoors. It is extremely simple to set up, as all you really have to do is unbox and plug in. That makes it much better for you because you don’t have to be in the cold trying to assemble or set up the heater. Definitely one of the best things I’ve ordered for my dogs, especially in this coming winter time, thanks!

This is a super nice and safe heater at a really good price. I most appreciate the ability to mount it to the wall at a save height about my precious hounds. The timer on the thermostat is an effective way to save energy and I don't have to question whether or not I shut it off. My pets ignore the anti-chew cord, but I feel better knowing it the chord and my pets are safe. According to online appliance usage, this heater uses very low amounts of electricity. Installation could not have been easier, and the manufacturer made this heater with safety the foremost feature.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered this for my chicken coop. I like that it has a thermostat so I can set the temperature. Once it reaches the set temperature it turns off. It also has a child lock. It’s pretty quiet, and it doesn’t bother the hens. This will be very handy this winter keeping the coop warm.
