I was hoping these would keep the cats out of my planter boxes but they are just to short. Probably perfect for closing a gap under an existing fence but they were just a little to short for my desired use. They are 17 inches tall but you have to put about 8-9 inches into the ground in softer soil to make them stand up sturdy and that only leaves you about 9 inches above ground which the cats / squirrels / dogs just jump over. They are decent quality construction and may work fine for your project but just not right for mine.

I really liked that the wire is very strong and sturdy. The stakes that go into the ground are long and sturdy. It had rained recently and I was able to push the stakes into the ground pretty easily. I was not expecting the strong cotton gloves to protect my hands while pushing the fence into the ground. I also liked the great wire cutter tool that came with the fence. The black zip ties were also nice in helping to put the fence together. This fence is coming in handy already for what I needed it for. I highly recommend this sturdy little fence. It is very dependable and well made.

I wanted to keep rabbits out of a small raised bed garden, but it would have been much better to just buy some fencing and stakes. One package of these wouldn't even cover the perimeter of a 2x5 raised bed.
