My dog is about 45 pounds and is probably not quite the right size for this tub, but I wanted to use it as a barrier between my dog and by shower. I like that the design folds flat. It would be a little cumbersome to store if it was rigid. It is made of plastic pieces and the foldable joints are a rubber material. The rubber stopper plug at the bottom is very secure and seals the water in. Personally I hate bathing dogs inside because of the mess. My current house doesn’t have a good dog bath setup outside however, and my current dog is a runner. So we’ve been using my shower for baths. I put this folding tub inside my shower tub. The rubberized seams and corners made it secure so it didn’t slide. Also, my dog doesn’t love baths for a variety of reasons, but one of them is that his feet slide on the shower floor. He did not have any problem with sliding while standing in the bath, which made us both feel more secure. The bath also held up fine against his nails. This tub kept the dog fur contained well. Ultimately, I pulled the stopper because my dog didn’t want to stand in water. At that point, the fur did go out the drain hole and down the drain. I wish it had some sort of drain cover to prevent dog fur from going into my shower drain but I will add some sort of mesh next time. The walls were a good height to contain my dog but still allow me to reach in and do what I needed to do. I could wash his legs and feet. Overall, this worked really well for what I wanted it for. I also plan to use this for my cat, but she is a little trickier to bath so no review on its use for cats yet.

I chose to review the, "Handnam Foldable Dog Pet Bath Tub for Small and Medium Size Dogs, Indoor and Outdoor". A medium sized German Shepherd fit just fine in this bathtub. However, it's slippery with nothing for your dog's paws to grip onto, especially when wet, so that creates some anxiety. There is a raised "flower" like thing on the floor of the tub, and if you turn it over, it looks like it was tooled to be a drain but it was never finished. The "lock" to keep it together when storing, isn't attached with anything, so it just flies off, so you have to go looking for it. I think that it needs some improvement. The idea is good, just needs more work done on the design to really make it safe for dogs. Overall, I wouldn't spend the money on it until there were some improvements done on the design. I love that it is elevated, however, a bit bulky and difficult to navigate in and out of my shower. Once the weather warms up, using it outdoors would be awesome. Very sturdy.

This is a very nice addition to help keep my dog clean. It can be used in the tub on cold days or outside in the summer warmth. When not in use, it folds flat for easy storage. When used in my tub, it helped to keep my pup in one place, making it easier to wash and rinse her. The tub itself provided too much room for her to roam. Outside, I used it as a way to keep her cool while she was outside with me as I worked in the garden. This is very versatile.

Honestly, I don't even have a dog, but this little folding tub is so useful for so many things. We don't have a bathtub, just a shower, and our bathroom sink is very small, and there are so many things that are just yucky enough I don't really want to wash them in the kitchen sink. This thing is so easy to use and store. It's big enough for soaking/washing feet, muddy shoes, hand-washing laundry, and all sorts of other things - and then it folds up small enough to store in a narrow little space next to the bathroom vanity. The plug in the bottom is great. I don't have to tip over a heavy tub full of water and have it potentially splash all over the place. The tub feels nice and sturdy too, even at the folds/joints. Feels more stable than a collapsible tub/basin. Good value.

I have purchased this foldable pet tub to bath my cats. Before I was bathing them in bathroom tub filled with water at low level, but it was not easy to rinse shampoo fast, balancing escaping cat, shower head and soapy water at the same time. This foldable pet bath tub from Handnam is very helpful with my cat bath issues. The cat is more calm standing in this basin filled in advance with clean water and with fast dips it is easy to rinse shampoo from hair. This foldable pet tub is offering a convenient and space-saving solution for pet owners - it is portable and easy to store when not in use. It is also very convenient if you travel a lot with your pet. The drain plug is nice feature for easy water removal and helps to avoid accidental water splash on floor or counters. It is made from excellent quality material - lightweight and durable, it is also scratch resistant and very easy to clean, the bottom is untiskid. The tub has very generous size (my cat is large, 17 pounds, but can fit easily inside). This tub is also very versatile in usage! You can alternatively use it for laundry soaking or hand washing of delicate items, toys washing or toys storage, your feet soaking with espom salt, or to use it as ice bucket for cooling beverages during outdoor activities. This is an excellent practical product for any pet-owning household looking to minimize clutter and maximize eficiency with multipurpose usage! 5 stars from me.
