TL;DR │ Really great cotton covers/sheets. - - - - - This caught my attention because they seem perfect fro my requirement. Especially since I have a blue cat, that ripped apart my Ikea sets. I ordered both the denim blue and the dark gray covers. I also got the sheet sets (more on that later). WHAT I LIKE │ + │ + Great colors. Hides my blue/gray cats' hairs. + I don't think it will rip apart easily. Like when my cat claws it. + They are soft, for a cotton. + Not smooth, just the way I like it. (love it or hate it) + Duvet ties for security. + Good choice of buttons for fastening. + Great seller/brand.⁽ⁿ¹⁾ + All things considered, the price is okay. WHAT I DON'T LIKE │ × │ × Came in unsealed, "bulk" plastic packaging.⁽ⁿ²⁾ × I am cheap, so they are expensive to me. My obsessive compulsiveness required me to get matching sheet sets, so I did. I reached out to Doffapd, and they accommodated an order for the sheet sets. They are not selling it now, not sure if they will in the future, but they do exist (as it does in their product photos). So far, I am liking them, and not regretting anything. And so, I got my duvet cover sets with Amazon prime, and then got my sheet sets straight from China. - - - - - NOTES ⁽ⁿ¹⁾I do not normally take into account the seller because this is a product review. I made an exception because (1) they are the only vendor; (2) this is their own brand; and (3) they are not mainstream brand. They probably only sell these sheets. I like how they entertained my nonsense. ⁽ⁿ²⁾This is definitely not especially made for the US end-consumers, and the packaging and the product may raise doubt. This is my first duvet cover for a Cotton-loft 100% cotton duvet I purchased last month. This cover met all of my requirements: 1. 100% cotton. Feels like a fine linen. 2. Size. My duvet is 88 x 88. Most full size duvet covers I viewed were too large. The Doffapd Full is 90 x 90. Perfect! 3. Ties on all 4 corners to secure to the duvet. I’ll be damned if I’m going to spend my pre-coffee mornings wrestling a duvet that has bunched up and shifted inside the cover. 4. Made well enough to withstand washing. I’m going to wash this cover by hand in woolite, cold water, then line dry. I’m confidant that it will retain its color and shape. This cover is well made. The pillow shams will fit any standard size pillow. The buttons are securely sewn which is important because there are 15 of them between the duvet and the shams. It also came with 2 extra buttons. I like that Daffapd used buttons instead of zippers. Long zippers tend to bunch-up after washing and can snag the fabric. I’m very pleased with this product and would buy it again. Thanks again to the many honest reviewers whose opinions I relied on for this purchase. I’ve included photos. I hope they help. Update: 2 yrs later. I’ve purchased a new mattress and box spring and have redecorate the bedroom but I haven’t changed the duvet cover. It remains just as fresh as the day I bought it. If there is one thing I am, I have to confess that I am, indeed, a bedding snob. With that being said you can believe this review. I have been transitioning away from duvets and duvet covers so this is a trend around my place for a while now. However, I do have very high quality duvets and I decided that I would again add one to a guest bedroom. I read reviews and researched and kept coming back to this duvet cover. I loved the "cute" and the uniqueness of buttons at the bottom and, also, I read the great reviews (this many people cannot be wrong, right?) so I decided to purchase this and see for myself. This is a guest room and a work in progress but I am just loving it. I enjoy creating a space that can be changed on a whim i.e. any color throw blanket across the end of the bed makes a nice contrast. I have a beautiful white embroidered quilt beneath the duvet (for guests who do not want a duvet) and I like the fun in mixing white with off white and then just choosing an accent color. I tried folding this duvet across the end of the bed just to see how it looks, should I choose to do that, and it still looks so classy and comfy. This set is lovely. It is not white. It is an ivory color but herein lies the fun of decorating with neutrals. I am so glad I got this. Upon receipt, I washed and rinsed (in vinegar) and then placed in dryer on low heat. It came out perfect. Lucky guests who get to sleep in this lovely, very cozy space...This is one of my favorite purchases EVER at a very, very reasonable price. ... show more

After a ton of shopping and comparison and consideration, I bought the King Dark Gray set and I honestly couldn't be happier. I have a Cal King Bed, but my IKEA comforter insert is in King (IKEA doesn't make Cal King) - duvet cover fits perfectly, and works great on my Cal King Bed. When you use a King Comforter on a Cal King Bed, the comforter is great on both sides and foot, but doesn't quite reach the head of the bed, which is fine because all the pillows sit there. LOVE that this is washable and cotton because I have pets - pet hair does NOT stick to this like it does to microfiber or synthetics. And with pets I can wash JUST the duvet cover at home, instead of having to wash the whole giant King comforter in a commercial washer at a laundromat. Duvets are so much better than quilts or comforters without covers for people with pets! Dark Gray is a rich true gray that goes perfectly with my Hemnes dark gray dressers and nightstands. I use crisp white percale sheets, and white floor to ceiling drapes in my bedroom, and the richness of this darker color gives a nice relaxing, cool, calming feel to my bedroom. I debated about getting the white, but I'm glad I didn't. It would have looked a little too much like sheets for my taste. The linen fabric has a light texture and rumple, without looking overly wrinkled or unkempt. It's a medium-light weight that should wear well enough, especially with pets. My only wish is that the dark gray came with brown wood buttons like the other colors (these have so-so plastic shiny black buttons), but I can change these out if it winds up bugging me too much.     • Beautiful feel but a little long
This was a great duvet cover. The color was a beautiful beige with a hint of rust. I loved it, but my whole room is gray (headboard, walls) and it didn't match. Plus it's too big for the down comforter I got from Ikea. It's a little too long. I loved the linen feel, looked beautiful, but again the color scheme is off. It is a little more beige/brown in comparison to my room, but it's a good color. It my walls were white, it would have worked. The fabric is great quality, felt really soft and nice. But rough like other linens. Also, it did smell a little, but I think wash would have fixed it. It smelled like new fabric straight from the factory....not bad, but definitely not a fresh linen smell as one would expect from a fresh linen fabric. I recommend the product. My 4 stars are because of the smell (easily fixable with a wash, I assume but don't know for sure), the size (easily fixable if I got a comforter in the right size, but don't know because a lot of down comforters didn't match it), and the color is a little more beige with hints of rust. ... show more

I wanted to wait and use this devet before leaving review . First it arrived in one day! The material is very soft right out of the package . I read some reviews that it wasn’t soft but it is , has an organic prewashed feel. I got the white, it’s more off white which is what I was wanting with wooden buttons . We have a queen size bed but I use a kind comforter on it . I just like the oversized look . I would definitely recommend this devet set . The wooden button are also on the shames which I think makes it look expensive. It’s made very well, fabric is soft , nice wooden buttons, super fast shipping . What more could you want.? Go ahead and order if you like everything I just described ! One tip to give you, invest in a really nice down comforter . I have one from the company store and it medium weight and fluffy! It’s like sleeping in a cloud ! Mine looks thick , cozy , snuggly . You just want to go to bed when you walk in our bedroom. But the key is a nice thicker comforter. I'm so glad I chose this duvet and sham set! I was looking for something a bit lighter than my previous duvet which was quilted and heavy. This fabric is so light and soft! It's perfect for summer. It washed and dried nicely. It has a very subtle crinkle texture, but isn't frumpy looking. It has a boho vibe but is still very classy looking. I ordered off-white and it is the perfect shade...it's bright and not overly cream or beige. It goes perfectly with our off-white trim. It feels super luxurious, and makes me not want to get out of bed! Also love the wooden button detail. The best part is the price...I have a king size bed and was expecting to spend hundreds on a duvet set, but this was under $100. Highly recommend! ... show more

    • Holding up beyond all expectations with heavy pet-use
I searched and searched for a duvet for our new king sized bed, trying to find the perfect blend of style and functionality. After two months, I have to say this totally holds up and was worth the money. I was really nervous about spending that much money because our animals sleep on the bed with us (at my husband's insistence) and they have ripped every duvet I have ever purchased from IKEA. But much to my surprise, despite being incredibly soft and delicate looking (much more so than I thought it would be from the pictures) it has not torn - even when my 40-pound dog was wrestling with our 20-pound dog all over it last night. The cats have pawed at it and kneaded it and it has not shown the slightest bit of wear. And even more surprising, if they drool on it or other bodily fluids make their way into it, it doesn't stain! I thought for sure it would end up with greasy spots all over that would not come out, but so far it has retained its immaculate look. I couldn't be more surprised, and we love the feel of it and the look makes our bedroom feel luxurious and trendy. I will be ordering another one, for sure.
