Designed for marine environments, it combines durability, ease-of-use and strong anti-theft security in one kit. Patented Jaws Lock Technology. At the heart of the system is the DocksLocks Jaws Lock — a patented locking device designed specifically for surfboards and SUP paddleboards. It attaches easily to either the leash plug or fin box cleat without tools, then locks into place when paired with the included resettable keyless combination cable lock. Each DocksLocks Complete Security System includes everything you need to get started: (1) DocksLocks Jaws Lock, (1) 10 ft coiled security cable with a resettable combination lock, and (1) universal fin box cleat for boards with fin tracks. Together, these components deliver the most versatile and dependable SUP and surfboard security solution available. Install the included cleat in your fin box and clamp the Jaws onto the cleat. Then, thread the cable through the ring on top of the Jaws. DocksLocks recommends using this method to secure your board. Alternatively, if your board has a recessed leash plug, you can clamp the Jaws around the leash plug bar. NOTE: the Jaws is not intended for all types of leash plug bars. Using the included DocksLocks Security Cable, run the cable through the metal ring at the top of the Jaws Lock, secure the cable around a secure object and lock the cable.
