This product seems to be of very high quality at a good price. Unfortunately for me the shape of the toe box is much too pointy. They do not look like boots from above.

Orderd twice and both blacks were reddish brown. The zipper is clearly black in the photo, the boot faux leather is not. I really like them and wish the material was a true black. If you want off black or brown you will like them

    • Exceptionally Attractive Dress Boots
Size: 13 Color: Dark Brown
These dress boots are a take on the classic oxford, appropriately updated with a contemporary look. While described as "dress boots" on their promo page, this footwear is very versatile, suitable for a suit-and-tie business look as well as perfect with fashionable jeans or other casual wear. The dark brown version I ordered are gorgeous -- both mature and chic. The quality of these boots is quite good with well-treated good leather, rich color, a strong zipper of the side of the boots, fine stitching, et. al. These are boots that if properly care for will last for years. The one caution I have to offer is that these boots are on the narrow side. I mention this because I can be hard to fit in footwear and have to be very selective about size and styles because of this. Men who have a more or less average foot and who generally are comfortable with standard sizes will likely have no issues with the sizing of these boots. Those who regularly have issues with standard sizing -- a high in-step, large bunions, or who take a wide in their size -- will have to exercise extra care and judgement about these. As it turns out, my normal size 13 was OK for these boots, but had they been just a little tighter on my feet I probably would not have kept them. This is a familiar sort of issue with me and probably for others, too, wo have varied experiences with shoes nominally of the same size; use careful judgment with these. These boots are a great value at this incredible price. I expected some compromise in quality or comfort, but these boots surprised me on both counts. Right out of the box, I put them on and prepared to wear them around the house to break them in, but this turned out to be not needed. The boots flexed at just right points and were comfortable immediately. I sense that longer wear is going to conform them to my feet and the comfort is going to increase. The quality of the boot was another surprise. Having boots better than twice this price to gauge them against, I found these to be in the upper leagues. The leather is without flaws and nicely finished and the attention to detail is very good. How long they will last remains to be seen, but it's boot season and we're going to find out. ... show more
