  • Cat's in the cradle.
Fit Type: Regular Size: 36W x 31L Color: Dark Pebble
I've turned into my father. They fit like his did, they look like his did. The cycle of life has completed. Nice pants.

  • I'm not so in love with these pants
Fit Type: Regular Size: 38W x 31L Color: Black
I've been loosing weight and as such I have had to replace my every day trousers and I have recently replaced about 4 pairs of trousers with the regular popular brand names however this particular pair which is Dockers is not up to my expectations. The material is great---just what I wanted and the length is perfect however these trousers are a little bit tight across the crotch area and the seat as compared to the other name brands that are a much more comfortable fit. My biggest objection to these Dockers pants is the side pockets which are very shallow and as such I am fearful that my valuables such as wallets, keys and cell phone will fall out. Accordingly as I am so fearful and these trousers are brand new, I am going at my own expense going to have larger and deeper pockets installed. This will cost me some additional money which does not please me so good. ... show more

  • Dockers Stretch Khakis Run Short
Dockers Stretch Khakis, whether pleated or unpleated, cuffed or uncuffed, run small. The waist is a close call; with the stretch, you can order and be okay, but it may feel tight until it's been on a little while. This may recur after each washing. The inseams are another matter, though. They consistently run between 1" and 2" short, relative to the way an inseam typically fits me in any other brand, even other brands of flex or stretch pants. My standard pant size is 38 or 40 waist and 32 inseam, across all brands EXCEPT the various Dockers Stretch Khaki models, where if I don't order a 34 inseam, those who pay attention tell me there's way too much sock going on. Some of the replacement pants I ordered are fine as-is at the 34 inseam. It's possible I may need to trim just a bit off the cuffs. Exceptions: fine for the beach, or if you're wearing boots, or if you're biking. But for a business casual look, getting your regular inseam won't do in these pants. ... show more

  • Throw away your lint brush and your vacuum cleaner, wear these pants instead
Fit Type: Regular Size: 44W x 30L Color: Black
Are you tired of using a lint brush to clean pet hair, bits of dust and fluff, and other small detritus from your bedspread? Sick of having to vacuum your furniture to remove dust and cat dander? Well no more! Just buy and wear these pants. They're guaranteed to attract even the tiniest speck of dust, dog hair, cat fur, and those little random bits of white stuff that seem to collect everywhere. Wear them to your friends' houses (with masks and social distancing, of course) and clean their furniture and carpets too! Seriously, though, these pants fit well and look great. The material is soft and comfortable and it drapes well. But they are lint, dust, and hair magnets like nothing I've ever seen so unless you're living in a virtual clean room environment, caveat emptor. ... show more

  • Defect? Tear open at back pockets
I like the look, feel, and price of these pants. When I find an article of clothing I like, I remember it and buy it over and over. I thought I'd found my go-to work khakis in these, but over the last few weeks I've had two pairs rip open like tissue at the top corners of the rear pockets. I don't do any rigorous activity in these. I have an office job. I wear them twice, then wash them inside out on permanent press and immediately hang them. I like these pants a lot, but not enough to warrant restocking my wardrobe every quarter. I hope the designer will fix this issue. Everything else about these khakis is pretty nice. A note on the "bungee" color: They're more green in real life than they appear in the product images. I really like the dark khaki and charcoal colors, though. ... show more

  • Solid, but no WOW! Factor
I keep asking myself "what would it take for them to be 5 stars?" I don't know the answer, but the feel 4 stars to me. They are very good in most categories. Some people might think the material is too light, but heaver fabric would be too hot for others. I think of them as All Day pants - as in comfortable for all day in an office environment. I did once rip a pair when on a construction site, but I was on a construction site! They are fairly lightweight, but these are Dockers, not Carhartts. I just placed an order for another two pair. I think I've order 6 or more of these from Amazon in the last 6 years or so. When it comes right down to it, I'd rather get these again than try something else that will most likely be less comfortable, less durable or too hot for my taste. ... show more

  • After a decade QUALITY has returned to Dockers
I stopped buying dockers ten years ago when the quality, stitching and cut deteriorated to the point where they were no longer worthwhile for me. I still have some of those older pants that are now getting threadbare and I love them. Over the past decade their biggest flaw, in my estimation, is that in the big and tall sizes they put a cheesy slider into the waist band that was made poorly and the stitching was of very poor quality. Previously if you bought a pair of pants, no sliders just the waist size you ordered. So I've bought (directly from Dockers) a couple of pairs every year waiting for the quality to return... every year I had to return them. I'm happy to report the quality has returned. After this long wait I FINALLY got three pairs of these pants in different colors and the material and workmanship is as good as the older styles. they still have a small slider in the waist, but it is unnoticeable and comfortable. the material is soft and of high quality. Dockers are BACK!!! I'm a happy guy. Unfortunately, the price nearly DOUBLED on amazon and when I went back in to purchase more - a few days after receiving these I was shocked to see the price escalate up to nearly $50 a pair. ... show more

  • Get a Better Belt
I'm gonna go ahead and say that no QC workers are employed at this factory. The length and waist on these vary between -1 and +2 for every pair I have ordered. Its a great product but I wish that L.S. would squeeze in a little more accuracy with regard to American sizes. Color is pretty good if you wash at home, on delicate, with Woolite. They will fade in the dryer, so if you want the mileage, let them hang to dry and press with a warm iron. ... show more
