Style: Original (Fits Most Bikes)
I was researching all different types of seat mounts, I didn't want a rear mount, and I didn't want too much restriction on height and age. So I ended up taking a chance on this. I'm so glad that I did. It's pretty expensive for what you get but it's actually built very well, and the seat is comfortable. The joy your kids will have riding with you makes it worth every penny. I've taken kids from 3-6 years old on it and there's plenty of room for my legs to peddle. I'm not sure if you're over 6 feet but I'm not so it doesn't affect me. It's pretty well balanced I can do turns, on and off road, bomb hills even go through mud. It's a little hard to peddle on steep hills with the added weight but it gives your legs a workout. It's a little tricky to mount if you're not holding on to something. So you lay your bike at 45 degree angle or so and have your kid put one leg over, and you do the same. Then in one swoop, stand it up and you're off. I mounted this to a 2018 specialized pitch mountain bike. Even with big diameter bar it mounted perfectly. There's extra parts of you need to adjust for height. It comes with a carrying bag if you take it off for some reason. You really don't need to either, it doesn't interfere with solo riding and I sat on it myself while peddling it's strong. You have to finagle it when you mount it to a hitch carrier, but it just a matter of getting the mounting pipe through the space in the frame, no big deal. I think it's better than the handle bar mounts as far as visibility, longevity and safety. Kids aren't high up obstructing your view, won't be thrown from high up if an accident did occur and your kids won't outgrow it as fast. Don't wait too long, they grow up fast. ... show more

  • Fits E-Bike!
Style: Biggie (for Ebikes & Larger Frames)
Stoked that I found this product. Amazon is swarmed by random, crappy options. This one is legit! I decided to just keep scrolling and scrolling and, finally, stumbled upon this. Fits my trek emtb with very wide top/bottom tube. My 4yo and even 6yo finally got to go on a ride with me and it was amazing. I have been unable to fine any other mid mount kid seats like this. Shotgun makes one but it’s too small. They offer a different type that attached to seat and handlebar tubes but it’s pricey and not the best setup. Do Little installs way easier and worked perfectly. Love it. ... show more

  • LOVE! GREAT BUY!
Style: Original (Fits Most Bikes)
My 3 year old and I are in LOVE! We have been riding bikes a lot but he can't ride his bike as long as I'd like to. Now I can get some exercise in while he has tons of fun. Game changer! I am 5'2" and have a hybrid step-through bike. Was a little worried about the feel/balance part with him on but I have NO problem at all. And I am by no means an expect on a bike! Seat it sturdy and secure on my bike. Installation was pretty straightforward. Found an install video online that made me feel more confident in what I was doing. Had a little bit of trouble with the velcro sticking when I didn't want it to...used the extra velcro strap to cover the other while securing it onto my bike frame. This sounds silly but if you have done it, you know what I am talking about lol. Once I figured it out, I will have no problem removing and reinstalling the seat if I need to! This seat feels secure and my family is loving it! ... show more

  • After trying a lot of different seats, this is the one.
Style: Original (Fits Most Bikes)
I was looking for a way to have my 3 year-old right on the frame while we pull a trailer bike. We tried the shotgun-style seat and found that it didn't fit the frame well and is really only fit for a mountain bike, because of the longer forks. We also tried the UrRider and it worked mostly, but it attaches to the seatpost and makes the step-over height really high for the adult rider. It was also pretty "clunky" looking. It's not perfect, but this seat doesn't take up a lot of space on the frame, it's comfortable for my daughter, and it feels very sturdy. Like some others, I wish there was something to keep your kid's feet from sliding too far forward and getting caught in the wheel/forks, but it's never been an issue. Great product! ... show more

  • Works on our Ebike
Style: Biggie (for Ebikes & Larger Frames)
Seems expensive for what it is. Fits snug on our Specialized Turbo Tero 3. I have taken our 4 year old on mountain bike trails and around the neighborhood. We have gone up and down some serious hills and he has stayed stable. I think the foot rests help a lot.

  • Absolutely worth the extra money!!
Style: Original (Fits Most Bikes)
This is the absolute best seat I've found for riding with a 4yo!! 5/5 stars, hands down. I'm fairly sure the seat is more stable than mine, and it's definitely more comfortable. I fully expected to need to ride bow-legged but nope; his head doesn't block my view, either, even in his helmet. + The packaging is delightful and all recyclable. + Instructions are included, and are clearly written with useful, easily understood illustrations. + The included allen wrench/flathead screwdriver combo tool worked fine to attach the seat, but if you need to use the metal strap like I did, a regular flathead screwdriver might be a hair faster. + My 7yo can ride almost as comfortably as the 4yo can. It's absolutely worth the extra cost over the other offerings, and I say that as a broke single mom. ... show more

  • Love this seat!
Style: Original (Fits Most Bikes)
I was hesitant but it fit my hybrid bike perfectly. My toddler sits safely in between my legs and it is super comfortable! The weight distribution is even and doesn’t feel unstable. And my daughter gets to experience the real thing with bike rides… the wind in your face .

  • Good bike seat but has some drawbacks
Style: Original (Fits Most Bikes)
Good - sturdy - comfortable saddle (no complains from the child) - foot rests Bad - not easy to install or attach to a different bike (needs adjustment that takes 20 min) - the manufacturer doesn't provide enough bolts/screws (2 out of 3 needed of one size needed) - the manufacturer doesn't provide enough variety of bolts/screws (out of 3 lengths one is too short and other is too long, so I ended up adding screw washer to fit it) - not enough padding material on the bottom - the screw is scratching your bike Overall it works, but it's a bit overpriced for what you get and it's not hassle free to install. ... show more
