Okay this sounds crazy, but the color changed overnight. At first I was annoyed because I used the Lava regular polish on my toes and the Lava Gel polish on my fingers, and the colors didn’t match. My nails looked red and my toes looked the bright orangey red that I expected. As any DIY nail person knows, it takes hours. I didn’t finish my right hand, I was sick of polishing, so I went to bed with my left hand and all toes polished and the nails on my right hand bare. I woke up this morning and finally put the gel on my right hand. Lo and behold, it doesn’t match the left!! Overnight the gel on my left hand turned the same orangey red as my toes, the color I wanted! Now my right hand looks red but I’m going on with my day hoping it catches up to the left. I have no idea how or why this happened, but I’ll take it! Edit: yes, the color changed throughout the day and caught up, both hands were the same color by dinner time ... show more

AMAZING! very opaque and shiny.. only issue i had with it is its labelled red, shown red, sold as a red but looks very purple… i will still use but i am disappointed.
