These lights are an awesome addition or upgrade to an older truck. I installed these lights in a 2003 Chevy Silverado for my son and they look great! The regular bulb assemblies just snap in as usual, but I did have to wire the halo lights directly into the dim light wires. You could wire them into the daylight running lights too, but I chose the dim lights for now. Very easy, and all four lights were installed in less than 30 minutes. I’ve purchased several sets of Chinese replacement headlights for my 05 crew which is now my 18yo sons. as they usually last about a year before turning yellow and losing clarity. I’ve never encountered a set that are rigidly mount. These have no adjustment screws whatsoever. Aiming at the sky. I think I saw an owl. The retaining pin holes had to be reamed out just to get them installed CHEAP. Not cheap as in great value but cheap as in low quality. I will not buy these again - nor will I refer them to a friend - I do not like them in the end. My fix: Ream the pin holes oblong with a burr bit toward the rear leaving a small strip of plastic before the hole becomes open. This allows the housing to tilt forward enough to hopefully keep from getting flashed by incoming motorists. ... show more

In my experience with owning these headlight housings for almost a year now (purchased 11 months ago at time of this review), I have found some pros and some cons. For the pros, the led running lights have good illumination and the housings cast a decent beam. The upper housings sit solid. As for cons, I found the mounting quality of the lower housings to be very poor. Both of them had the retaining clips snap and break, had to “fix” with zip ties. Within 6-8 months they started to yellow. After the first rain the bottom housings got water in them and have been fogged since. The biggest gripe I have with this set is that there is zero angle adjustment so where the housings sit and where your light beam is cast is permanently fixed in position. If you need a set to get you by for a while, this would be a decent option. If you want something long term and durable I’d recommend looking elsewhere. ... show more
