    • Resonator is the wrong size.
The exhaust system comes very nicely packeged so there was no damage. Everything fit together except for the resonator, like all the reviews said, the resonator is 2 1/2" and the pipes it connects to is 2 1/4". I'm not sure I understand why they would continue to ship such a nice system with the wrong resonator. Luckily I have an expander and welder to make it fit.     • Parts do not fit together!
Beware, the parts are very nice quality but they do not fit together. The resonator ends are larger than the pipe and coupler and one of the pipes is not flared so it won't fit onto the next piece. It took a lot of thought and extra parts to make this work plus I had to shorten the pipe without the flare. It is a little loud but not too bad and now that it is done it looks great. ... show more

More rumble than original equipment. The resonator pipe came over expanded so the clamps wouldn't fit and the fit was so loose a clamp would seal the connections. The clamps for the chrome tips barely snug up enough to hold the tips on.

Not all the pipes were the correct size. Had to go to the parts store to get adapter pipes and different clamps.

    • Nice pieces but doesnt fit correctly
I loved that the system comes with really nice mufflers, tips, bends are all nice. Downside is the resonator pipe does not fit the connection to the cat. I wouldnt have minded welding it together had i of known it ahead of time as it took me 5 hours to complete it after trying to clamp it all together. ... show more

Pipes were all wrong size plus mufflers were 2 1/2 pipes are 2 1/4 plus to loud!

    • Sounds and looks good but there are issues...
I installed this on an 02 Grand Prix GTP. Just like other reviews the resonator is way to big. The resonator is 2.5" while the piping is 2.25". Doesn't seem like a big difference but it is. We struggled with trying to get the resonator to work for about an hour then I gave up, drove to Autozone and bought a Magnaflow 2.25" resonator for $38. I have a feeling the resonator that the exhaust comes with would probably make it a lot quitter, it has a lot more perforations internally where as the Magnaflow has probably half. Either way the exhaust sounds really good. I'm using it with the Equalizer downpipe from ZZP and it actually make the 3800 sound like a modern overhead cam engine. It's a great combo! Overall it's not bad for less that $400. I'd probably buy it again. ... show more
