You have to cut off the old muffler first (big large parts) then unclip the stands with W40. Took me about 30min to remove the old one then install took 10min straight ! Make sure to put the lock on flush on the new stand to avoid it to move much

Was able to install this very easily. I installed without putting the truck up on jack stands so the only tough part was getting the correct angle with my sawzall under the truck. The exhaust sounds great!

The media could not be loaded. Love the sound from this muffler. Engine is the GM factory 5.3L (not tuned). Now it sounds more like a truck should.

    • Cheaper than going to a muffler shop
This was definitely a cheaper route than going to a muffler shop. For what it’s worth it sounds ok but with it being so small and virtually having a straight shot it’s a lot quieter than I thought it would be. I’ve had an outlaw muffler on a ram, tundra and now Chevy. They’re all about the same volume. I would say quiet to moderate. If you’re looking for loud this is not your muffler.
